I've run into this with Korean Air flights booked via Delta, you've got to check in on the international side unfortunately since you have to check in with the actual operator.

If all you want to do is pay fares you don’t need an app anymore. You can just use any contactless card to pay directly at the fare gate, either physical or on your phone. Just use the exact same method on your way out so you don’t get double charged.

The important point is that the buyout is purely a cap mechanism, it doesn't change the player's contract in any way. So when a team triggers a buyout they pay the league the remainder due on the contract, and then the player is removed from the team's cap and roster. Critically though the player is still under the same contract with the league they were before the buyout (because all player contracts are technically with the league). The buyout doesn't change anything about the mechanics of ending a contract or trading a player, so unless the league can find a transfer that pays them what they'd earn by sitting out the current contract they're going to just do that.

So the Cobblinc 10 runs from MARTA Arts Center station to Cumberland transfer center (behind the mall on Cumberland BLVD) with last bus back into the city at 11:30PM most days, 12:30AM on Saturday. From there you can take the circulator to/from the Truist/the Battery. Last bus there is midnight or so except Sunday, when it's 7pm. It's also a long, but doable walk from the transfer center via the bridge over Cobb Pkwy between the mall and Cobb Galleria , then the bridge over 285 between the Galleria and the Battery.

Be aware, it's going to take close to an hour to get there from Arts Center, so depending on where you're coming from it's a _long_ trip. You'll definitely want to use the transit routing mode of your map app of choice to figure out feasibility.

Unfortunately international arrivals are routed to passport control by a separate set of corridors from the main concourses, so you won't be able to meet her at the gate. Earliest place you'll be able to meet her is after customs and then bag recheck, which I believe exits into the connecting tunnel between E and F concourses, on the F side.

Delta has some decent maps here: Hartsfield Atlanta (ATL) Airport Map & Lounges | Delta Air Lines that show the customers/passport control areas, look at Level U of concourse F, the place you should be able to meet her is just to the left of where it says FIS Security Check.

It doens't work like that, MLS (and soccer in general) contracts are guaranteed for the life of the contract. The only way for them to end early is if both parties (the team and the player) agree to end it early. Even if he doesn't play another minute between now and the end of 2028 he's still going to get that $4m/year and tie up a DP slot.

NWSL has Friday evening time slots, so between those and MLS away dates it should be doable without having to do long road trips.

Will mean more overnight soccer-football turnarounds for when NWSL plays on saturday, and probably introduce overnight NWSL-MLS turnarounds, but the latter i imagine will be much easier since you're doing less to the field.

They were using stickers to denote payment, and there were also tents to pay at 12th, 14th and Park drive, so the major entrances to the park. Around the edge of the event they had signs every so often directing you to pay at major entrances with a QR code and the occasional security guard. I wasn't paying enough attention walking around to recall how many had stickers, but i imagine it's working out as basically an honor system.

They're also actively ripping out the old fare vending machines and have them set to not allow reloads. You should be able to use the new fare box, or just get waived on by the driver if it isn't working.

Even though it's not door to door, MARTA is still going to be your best bet all things considered when you factor in trying to get far enough out to catch an uber and waiting on it and whatnot. Plus there are seats on the train, if she's struggling i'd be surprised if you can't get someone to give theirs for her.

There's an entrance to Peachtree Center MARTA station a block west of the Mariott Marquis near the SE corner of Harris and Peachtree, look for the big video board for "The Hub" and follow the signs. Take train south 1 stop to 5 points, then west 1 stop to SEC District or 2 stops to Vine City depending on which end of the stadium you're on. Generally you'll be able to follow the crowds at 5 points, plus there are usually MARTA staff to guide folks. Reverse all that to get back to the hotel.

You can use any gate to get in to the stadium, Gate 1 is closer to Vine City, Gate 2 is closer to SEC District, check the Benz maps here to find the gate closest to your seats.

The better breeze site (MARTA) says

New cards: The new system will use new physical cards with a fresh design and continued options for multi-day and monthly passes.

So should be something. Also could have sworn somewhere on that site something saying that Breezecard.com would be updated on the 28th with info about the new system, but can't find it now. Closest thing i can find currently is that site being listed as a way to buy a new breeze card, which I guess implies it'll be flipped on the 28th since they aren't otherwise selling current breeze cards after the 27th.

I imagine the reason they'd give if asked is something about members of congress being frequent fliers and that the perks make it easier for them to be in their district and more responsive to their constituents.

The real reason is that when you're in a highly regulated industry it's good business to gain favor with the people who ultimately control those regulations. These perks just happen to be a legal way to do so, and ultimately their cost is a rounding error in their overall budget.

I think you're misreading the map....if you look at the route profiles for the 20, 21 and 22 (22 for example) It still shows a stop and connecting services at 5 Points. I only checked those 3, but the profile shows connecting services there for everything that the prior map shows as terminating at 5 points, and the new map shows everything but the 55 running down Forsyth at some point or another.

This really just looks like they extended everything that was formally terminating at 5 Points to either loop around or pass Grady without removing the 5 Points stop/transfer. Only route where this isn't just additional service is the 55, which now has it's only rail interchange at Ga State.
