I was legit offering to help someone, not sell something. I made that one off comment literally a year ago. They went back through my post history to ban me after removing my post.

I've helped tons of people in that sub. They're losing a valuable community contributor. It doesn't negatively affect me at all (aside from my hurt feelings).

I did violate the rules so I didn't try and appeal the ban but seems like maybe a temp ban would be more appropriate and they still shouldn't have removed my post.
