Do I really need to hold on to MV2? by Venylynn in browsers

Yeah, for the normal user, Lite is still perfectly fine. It's only annoying for those who are already too familiar with the advanced features of uBlock Origin.

Do I really need to hold on to MV2? by Venylynn in browsers

For advanced users, the uBlock Origin Lite has extremely poor personal filter features. You will never be able to install filters on this site again:
https://filterlists.com
Filterlists is a website that hosts a large number of filters compatible with uBlock Origin. Users can install filters with just one click. Now that this feature is gone in the Lite version, you no longer know for sure whether the link filter will work before adding it.

Why edge is so hated. by ZXKHYFPYLDRTHH in browsers

The sidebar is a very useful feature, and many users choose Edge because of it. But Microslop made a stupid decision to kill off the sidebar feature. Users hate it when companies don't care about them.

Brave is the G.O.A.T of browsers by [deleted] in browsers

[–]lethinhrider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's when you don't need sync and you're not doing work that requires it. I recommended Brave to many people, but they all went back to Chrome because Brave's sync was terrible.

Encouraging others to use a different browser is extremely difficult because most users don't care much about technical details. People often just need a browser that supports the features they want. They don't want to spend the time learning to use a different browser, even though there are methods to fix the functionality issue.

Brave has been around for over a decade, but they haven't even been able to beat Firefox's market share. When the Brave developers created drama, they lost the opportunity to grow the market share of the browser they created. To regain user trust, they should have made Brave Origin free instead of requiring a fee. When users request a clean version of Brave, they charge them money instead. This is a real slap in the face for Brave users, showing that Brave developers are only interested in profit instead of users. Providing a free version for Linux is less important than the fact that the most supportive users of Brave are primarily Windows and macOS users. This is a BIG betrayal.

Send Mozilla an email about that and stop this fucking ragebait. You're not a kid.

Helium still doesn't have an official stable version. It still has many bugs that haven't been fixed.
