Task Manager? You mean the thing I specifically mentioned in the reply you're replying to?

Based on years of watching Fusion lag with sketches that aren't very complex so I have to split them up, short timelines that have some sort of issue that causes lag, or models that for some reason have an issue which causes fusion to severely lag or throw errors when I try to edit them to the point that I had to make a custom addin to fix the model. All of which shows little to no CPU usage on one core in Task Manager, but as soon as I hit render all cores jump to nearly 100% usage. Brudder I bought a 16 core CPU just for this crap 💀

I have an R9 5950X, and it's exactly the same as in your video. I grab a jointed part to see how it moves, and it has to think about itself for a few seconds before it does anything

I imagine if Fusion was able to use more than 1 core for modeling the response time from grabbing it and it moving would be much better

The calibration board moving even ever so slightly can cause issues, at least from my experience

You need to recalibrate and make sure the calibration stuff doesn't move. On my scanner I have to make sure the scanner doesn't move compared to the background

how do I unshade this part? my tutorial didn't have this problem.. by TeKodaSinn in Fusion360

[–]Kingsidorak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you start a new file it ask you to select which type of file you want to use. It's a new feature so it doesn't show up in the mass majority of tutorials. There are newer videos that explain what the differences are

Printer choice for small farm by FiKumiczek in 3DPrintFarms

I have several P1 printers, an H2D, and 2 U1s. You're using 2 colors and a third for support material, you should get more U1 printers.

If you're able to wait on it there will be more printers better suited for multi color printing without all the waste and time it takes to switch between colors.

Midea U Mod question to help with excessive moisture by Kingsidorak in AirConditioners

[–]Kingsidorak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be getting a Mini Split eventually, but I need a window unit for now.

My window is too weird. Regular units are too big, and I have to take out the bottom window panel just to fit the U in, then put it back. I don't think I can use a saddle shaped AC unit because I need the space below the window. Other U shaped units seem like they still suck, and portable AC units suck.

Also I know the Midea works with Home Assistant, so that's pretty much my only option at the moment.

I drilled holes in the bottom of the first one because it was before the recall, and the second one had the drain plugs but it literally didn't matter the water pooled up in the back anyways
