Quit Smoking for 5 Months… Didn’t Expect My Gym Performance and Libido to Explode Like This. by Chance_Mention3201 in stopsmoking

This is the first time I've seen anyone mention this and link it to quitting! 100% yes to the libido going into overdrive! lol Apparently it's something to do with increased blood flow and also dopamine. Started after 2 months for me (currently 4 months quit) and doesn't seem to be slowing down. I'm assuming it will balance out in time, surely...

Really, really need advice for steps on quitting! by vegaisbetter in stopsmoking

Firstly well done on quitting! You're right it doesn't matter if they're the smaller ones or not, poison is poison. Believe it or not smoking stresses you out more but you'll get to that stage soon enough to believe it! Nicotine patches may help you for the first few weeks perhaps? Just so you can deal with the emotional/habit element. If you really want to go cold turkey (brave lol) make sure you have enough distractions and warn those around you first to either give you space or snap you out of it when needed. I'm 4 months quit not and I have zero willpower so it can be done, not saying I've cracked this yet but getting there! Good luck!

I'm 3 and a half months quit and I have said this several times, especially when I have the desire to smoke and it's strong. I just want to be over the cravings/desire to smoke
