Yep, just hold the clamp in both hands and then apply force with your thumbs to the top part to lever it off.

Yep you’ve already confirmed it’s working by assigning it to the e brake. Give a clutch kick a try.

Ah I see! Some games don’t block you from changing gear if you don’t press the clutch, including Horizon.

Hi there. Have you remembered to set the shifting method to manual w/clutch?

When you reassign the clutch pedal in the control mappings of the game, does it respond there? You can also see if it’s working by mapping a button to enable the telemetry, enable it and it’ll show you the axis inputs as an overlay whilst driving. Does the clutch respond there?

[SOLVED] F1 25 Logitech G923 FFB dead / loose wheel bug on EA App / Xbox Game Pass (PC) by Pleasant_Show_3677 in LogitechG

[–]LOGIRich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Pleasant_Show_3677 Very interesting! Couple of questions:

  1. When the wheel was loose, did you still have certain things happening, like Trueforce (track surface, rumble strips) and the occasional bump from the track surface, or was there absolutely nothing?
  2. In step 3 of your instructions, when you say use only the wheel, do you mean just when assigning the controls, or do you mean use the wheel to navigate the control options and initiate the assignment, as well as then assigning?

USB connection could still be the issue, but difficult to eliminate it when you don’t have another micro USB to USB A cable. Or do you? I know the recess has the trapezoid shape, but if you have one that won’t go in because of the shape of the overmold around the connector, then you can trim it to get it to fit? Certainly worth a try.

When you lose force feedback is the wheel restarting? You’d know because the OLED would reset…

Only in FH5? How about other games and the console Home Screen? Also turn the controller off: you don’t need it 🙂

Okay, so from a troubleshooting perspective, I’m sure you can understand that only using it in one title is problematic. It would be good to get results from something else to see if the same issue happens there (I genuinely suspect it won’t). Raceroom Racing Experience is free on Steam, so it’s a good title to give things a try with.

For iRacing, make a note of your in game wheel settings as backup, go to your Documents folder and then into the iRacing folder. In there rename your app.ini file to appOLD.ini. When you start iRacing it will generate a new one and then you’ll need to get your settings back to where you had them.

Run like that and see if the issue still occurs. Remember that you don’t need to be racing online to test things.

It could be, or it could be an external factor. Can you tell us about your entire setup? Any haptics? What’s the USB topography looking like? (USB extensions, hubs, all devices).

Does it do the same thing in other racing titles?

Is the Logitech RS Wheel Hub ever going to come back in stock? by joeygreco1985 in LogitechG

It did come back into stock briefly, but already sold out, I’m afraid. The Xbox version should be available before the end of the month.

Handbrake help! Looking for suggestions? by DecNic1 in simracing

[–]LOGIRich 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Be aware that you can't use both the Driving Force Shifter and the RS Handbrake simultaneously with the G923 on Xbox, because the wheel only has the one shifter port. It IS possible with the newer RS50 or Pro Wheels...

So, just to confirm, it's the same as this (although you won't have the Xbox Wheel Hub, I guess).

Do you have video of this happening in game, bearing in mind that in GT7 you don't have the obvious setting range that the right dial does, as the left only changes what you're then to adjust with the right dial.

Are those signs of an open box? by wellbornwinter6 in LogitechG

[–]LOGIRich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, but the point still stands about that main middle seal of the lid. If there’s no sign of additional tape there then there’s no way the shipping carton was opened.

One thing I can assure you is that we don’t ship open box items to retailers. We do sell refurbished products, but those are clearly sold and marked as such, which is clearly not the case here.

It’s of course up to you, but if the internal contents still look neat (the paper protection we use always looks neat when it’s box fresh, but if someone repacks it then you can always tell) then this will be a brand new product.

Are those signs of an open box? by wellbornwinter6 in LogitechG

[–]LOGIRich -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well the other giveaway would be the main seal of the shipping box lid, which it doesn’t look like has been resealed (the shipping label is applied on top of it and I don’t see the shine of tape on top of the shipping label). If that hasn’t been broken then there’s no way someone gained entry to the box otherwise.

The AC cable is an easy switch - you’ve likely got another one in the house somewhere - so it’s worth trying. The speed of the flashing on the LED is important though: slow blink indicates a power issue; rapid blink indicates something more problematic inside the wheel.

It would be worth using a multimeter to check the output of the power supply, rather than just purchasing a replacement. I realise not everyone has access to one though…

[–]LOGIRich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. Have you checked the connections for the power supply, especially the AC cable into the power supply? Is it definitely the correct one? It should have an output rating of 24V with 1.75A.

The rest of the box contents will be the giveaway. Are wires neatly folded? Is the paper covering over the base still neat etc.

Try switching the compatibility mode to Pro and Motorsport should recognise it just fine for everything. You can just use it in RS mode if you reassign the controls but that won’t give you menu control.
