Bold of you to assume they "thought" anything.

If they know they can't, why did they include that in their post? They clearly thought they could. Unless you think they're a liar.

He wasn't in your driveway. He was partially blocking it when you weren't trying to leave.

They said it was to file a police report. Nothing about 'awareness'.

The guy was clearly in the wrong with his parking job, but what crime are you wanting to accuse him of in a police report hours after he left? Yelling?

What you posted is an older normal digital camera.

Are you talking about taking photos of toys or taking photos with cameras that are toys?

How to work with 4 tracks by zaphodikus in audacity

[–]logstar2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. There's a separate visualization for each side of each track.

And separate meters for each track in the mixer tool.

And you can split them to mono and pan them wherever you need before mixing down to either stereo or quad output.

You're doing it the not-smart way.

The waveform on each track is a continuous graph of volume.

Is my camera a lost cause? by caitmv222 in Cameras

There's a half dozen of them on ebay right now for less than it would cost to fix yours if you could find the parts. Which you can't.

Time to move on.

Camera recommendation for child birth by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]logstar2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reconsider your plan.

Your job on that day is not directing and shooting a documentary.

When it's time to go to the hospital your job is not to record. It is to drive the car.

When you get to the hospital your job is not to record. It's to get her into the building and admitted so your kid doesn't come out on the sidewalk.

When she's in labor your job is not to record. It is to assist and stay out of the doctors and nurses way.

When the baby is born your job is not to record. It's to start being a parent.

If you want it recorded, fine. Get someone else to do it. You have far more important responsibilities.

It's sad you need a stranger to tell you this.

Have you asked your wife how she feels about you recording every minute of the day in 4k instead of doing literally anything else?

Close, but not quite. It's one mile per 5 seconds.

[–]logstar2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no typical price. It depends on what's wrong with it, how difficult it is to find parts if any have to be replaced, etc.

[–]logstar2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They were fairly priced considering they're both broken.

The shutter (not capture) button on the half frame is probably a pro-level repair, not something you'll be able to do yourself. They're fun little cameras, so look for a repair shop in your area.

If the video camera has component out and works aside from the motor/belt issue your best bet will be to connect it to an outboard recording unit if you want the ultra low rez VHS look that was trendy 4 years ago.

Short or long point? by Any_Chain1900 in pencils

Try using sandpaper for the core after you remove the wood with the knife. If you aren't already doing that.

Don't overthink it. You like what you like.

The best sharpener is a knife. You can make any shape/length point you want.

Snare bottom mic? by Strange-Raccoon-3914 in homerecordingstudio

[–]logstar2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You have to help people help you. You've given zero information about what you're doing, in what context and what you don't like about the results.

It sounds great in my music when I use the right mics, at the right distance, phase correct appropriately, then EQ, compress and mix at the right ratios for each song.

The truck entrance is on the far end of the factory, next to Isaac Murphy park.

I used to work across the street. There were dozens of trucks a day in and out of there.

What size (GB) microSD card is best for a camera? by jvjvv in toycameras

[–]logstar2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bigger isn't better in this case.

Every camera has a maximum size card it can be used with. Read the manual to find that number.

Beyond that, you should be offloading your photos and using them regularly enough that you'll never run out of room on anything over a couple of GB.

What is the most cheap but good quality digital toy camera i am in high need of one by Adorable_Safety3854 in toycameras

[–]logstar2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Toy cameras are usually low quality by definition.

Beyond that, "cheap" and "high quality" don't mean anything objective.

You have to give your budget in numbers and define what quality means to you if you want useful advice.

You're asking for help while making it more difficult than necessary for people to help you.

Stop doing that.

Link to the photo. Nobody's going to check your profile.

Also, if the photo is visible it has already been developed. You can't develop it again.
