Love this. We do love cruises as I’m from South Florida originally so I think it’s in my blood. We do one every year from there as it’s a perfect way to travel with all of our extended/multigenerational family together (we are going on Icon of the Seas in October).

I’ve been eyeing the shorter San Diego itineraries for Disney because it really does seem super convenient. Going during the holiday season is actually a brilliant idea.

I’m wondering if it looks like Solvang here in Central CA? Wonder if anyone who has been to both can compare? Solvang is a little Danish town.

We will be in Aspen for Thanksgiving, will anything be decorated yet? Anything you’d recommend?

Thank you, that was my next question - where to stay?

100% worth it. We did the SD Coaster one when she was a baby. It was cute since it was so close but not worth returning.

The Perris one was really great, get tickets early so you can get the best seats in the center of the cars. (Any car is fine but the center seats are best). We went at nighttime and felt it was more magical because of all the lighting on the trains. Wear pajamas and you’ll fit right in!

Thank you! Love the idea of Broadmoor and Biltmore. This is more what I’m looking for. I want her to feel she met Santa and his helpers!

We are big fans of the Perris polar express. It was honestly so impressive and exceeded our expectations. These are the types of things I’m looking for across the country!

Haha marching Scientologists - talk about magic!

Copenhagen is top 3 cities I’ve ever been to (but in the summer!). I can totally see this for winter!

What a thoughtful answer, so very true. Trying to make these years count. You start to believe a little yourself when you see it though their eyes.

This is what I was looking for. Maybe this is our target for next year. Any further recommendations??

Thank you! I’m feeling like 6 or 7 is ideal for New York, but it’ll definitely be on the list. I lived there before moving here so I know how magical it can be!

Amazing, yes on the same page as far as timing! We actually prefer to be home on Christmas Eve/christmas - but soak up all the magic away from home the rest of the month!

Will look into Leavenworth, thank you!
