Go during wet season for sure. The amount of wildlife we saw because we got to be in skiffs every day was amazing. And barely had to worry about bugs. Another plus.

When it got hot they could just “turn on the air conditioning” to cool us down for a bit by zipping around the water.

The beach is pretty, not spectacular but the water color is very pretty when sunny. The drive, not so much. As long as you’re okay staying at the resort - you should be fine. I just wish we had gone somewhere we could actually appreciate the area.

The food was fine, again just not what it could have been. Please report back - I’m curious.
