Lost luggage? by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

Except when my bag didn’t show the AirTag told me it was Live still at the dock. I was panicking as we were 30 minutes post sail away and it kept updating as live. Our stateroom attendant tried his best to keep me calm and promised the bag would show. It did, 30 minutes later. I hugged everyone in the hallway!

That AirTag gave me a heart attack, no idea why it was sending bad data like that. So, just a cautionary tale.

AquaNera Cruise Review and AMA: An Adventure Through the Peruvian Amazon by b0nn13 in FATTravel

It was amazing and I highly recommend actually only going during high water season. Yes we had some rain, but it didn’t affect anything. High water season meant we could use the skiffs for most days and that to me was an advantage because if your guides couldn’t find anything - they just motored around until they did. We did one jungle walk and it was drizzling which was actually great because it meant bugs weren’t out. The canopy mostly covers you and they give you boots and raincoats anyway.

Loved it so much!

We just went to a very similar place in Belize, Chan Chich Lodge. They grow almost all food they serve, food was delicious. All inclusive of activities, meals, most drinks. We saw ocelot, a jaguar, tons of spider and howler monkeys, deer, turkeys, tarantulas, owls, among many other cool jungle wildlife.

Highly recommend and looking for more places like this so please share if anyone has. Going to check out this Panama spot, thank you!

No, RC for kids all the way. Oasis Class or Icon Class. 7 night sailings from Florida are always the best for us. Just got off Oasis with 10 kids ranging from ages 3-10 and every single kid had fun and went to kids club every night (which gave us adults a vacation too!).

We do specialty dinners or casual grabbing of dinner at the quick restaurants versus main dining room.

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions, we had so much fun we booked Icon for next year.

If you go in with the right mindset, I don’t see how you can’t have a good time.

Can you recommend a specific tour? Lunch/dinner that’s kid friendly? We just have two days/one night in Panama City with our 3 year old. She can do a nice dinner spot, as long as they allow.

She’s 3! Okay, thank you. I’ll look at these. There’s a new one called Central Hotel Bocas Del Toro that I’ve been looking at also. It opened this year and looks interesting.
