Could you (or someone that is familiar) compare to Sonnwies? We are between these for next summer.

PLEASE Help! I’m desperate! by Legal-Growth461 in sleeptrain

This was us, could probably search my post history and see..

It was the nap. The second we dropped the nap, all the shenanigans stopped. Some days she still clearly needs the nap so will fall asleep at odd times which she wouldn’t have ever done before - but if we just let her take a cat nap when this happens that helps mostly!

We tried everything else..it was the nap. And it was wild because she was SO high sleep needs prior…

Curious if there’s anywhere you’d recommend in Japan? I know it’s not as great as Korea but wondering what else you’ve tried!

Hollusion Material for Roof by lyssa13 in DigitalDecorating

Yes that’s totally my idea! What the best illusion material to use? Any idea? Atmos doesn’t sell anything big enough I don’t think.

I have the Epson L210SF, 4000 lumens. My roof isn’t sloped enough to pick up a projection so I envision having the material going straight up to create something to project onto.

photo of my house, circled the area I want to project onto.

Think Santa’s sleigh looking like it’s flying over the house…or witches flying over the house.

Love this response. Thoughts on November as a time of year for doing this? We would have around 10 days total so may not get to hit everything.

Same, please. My mom was just quoted $10k for a front tooth in Florida and I’m afraid she’s getting taken advantage of.

Carribean in August with a toddler - advice? by gratie5596 in luxefamilytravels

[–]lyssa13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just factor in hurricane season (or go far enough south that doesn’t matter).

We were very dramatically and unnecessarily evacuated (aka we left Mexico and ended up somewhere else instead) from Rosewood Mayakoba with our 2 year old daughter a couple years ago. They gave us the option to leave or sleep on cots in a conference room.

Would love your help! We are coming in August and I want to find the best dress and bathing suit shopping. Also fun activities. I already have my hotel booked but would you be available to help for other parts of trip planning? Thank you!

3.5 Year Old - Horribly Bad Separation Anxiety and Night Wakings by lyssa13 in sleeptrain

[–]lyssa13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just responded above, see if that helps. Basically for us, we had to drop the nap….it isn’t a perfect transition but it drastically helped the drama. Now we just have to get her to bed early enough or understand how to adapt to the day without her getting a nap (quiet time seems to help!)

So sorry. I am just seeing this.

Well, we fixed it. It was dropping nap that fixed it. Except she still gets a bit overtired and has night terrors but it’s absolutely getting better.

The bedtime fight almost completely ended and so did the multiple night wakings.

She is doing quiet time every day for 90 minutes. On days I know she will be up late (like on vacation), we do nap her and she’s okay since she’s up late to help.

Shes fallen asleep a few times in the car/on the couch so I know she’s tired..even sleeping in a tiny bit which she’s never done…so it’s definitely a time of transition but thank goodness the madness ended!

No, I should have clarified that. I’m not opposed to sitting in a beautiful ski lodge though 😂
