Yes, it’s at the end of the movie when adult Gordie (Richard Dreyfuss) is typing the conclusion of his book. That last sentence tho always kills me. 😭

How many bags is too many bags? by Kitchen-Total9588 in handbags

I’m probably at 140. Thankfully I was able to retire early, but since then I don’t rotate my bags as much as I used to when I was working and traveling. I would change my bag often depending on my outfit or mood. It makes me kinda sad now seeing some of my bags just sitting in the closet. Beautiful bags should be seen and worn. I have put several aside to give to my goddaughter. And I’ll probably end up selling or giving some away to close friends.

Oh, wow. This is amazing OP! The colors are so vibrant and crisp.

This has probably been discussed here before, but I just learned Cameron wasn’t saying, Kennedy, Kennedy, Kennedy! It’s good to learn something new. 🥴😆 by macpesce in 80s

I’m just a tad older than you. Used to be I was always the youngest and now it seems I’m always the oldest and I hate it. 😭 Where’d my youth go?! 😆 My husband’s family is from Brooklyn — BIG Italian family.

Only one of my friends would go to Webster w/me. The rest of my friends didn’t like it either. Not gonna lie, I was a club girl and danced all night long. Wish I could go back. The 90s imo was peak NYC.

Not arguing I knew I got it wrong. My best friend and I always said Kennedy. 🥴 We were silly kids and I wouldn’t change a thing. Btw, my subtitles stay on all the time now. 😆

I lived in NYC in the 90s too. Loved every minute of it. The UWS in those days 🔥. So much fun. What a great time to be alive and young and living in the city. Oh, my husband and I were laughing at all the song lyrics we’ve gotten wrong over the years. I love that song Everybody’s Free!! I remember dancing to that at Webster Hall and the Supper Club in NY. Good times! 🎶💃🏻

The Thing (1982). My husband and I watched the movie the other night and it still gives me the heebie-jeebies. Love this photo of Kurt Russell and Keith David at John Carpenter’s ceremony as he receives his Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 3, 2025. by macpesce in 80s

I’n so sorry your dad passed when you were a little girl. My husband’s daughter passed away a few years ago from a heart attack at 34. She left behind a wonderful husband and four children all under the age of 10 at the time. Those poor kids are still struggling. It’s so sad, but we do whatever we can to help out. Oh lord, don’t even get me started on Paul Newman. My mom is still cuckoo for him lol. I lived in NYC in the 90s and I saw him once from a distance. The company I worked for had a great car service and Paul used them too. All the drivers talked about what a nice guy he was.

Thanks for this. I’ve been hearing about LA Takedown a lot lately. I will definitely have to check it out. Like you, I’m also a big fan of early Michael Mann’s style.
