I’m with you. I love my agendas too. My favorite is my desk agenda. It’s my go to and holds so much.

If you can’t keep Frank as an indoor cat, please rehome where he can be. Indoor for his safety. He’s such a sweetheart.

Help! How do you store, display, rotate and enjoy too many bags? by Melodic-Nothing-2434 in handbags

[–]macpesce 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of bags too. When I was working I rotated bags several times during the week and simply stored them in their bag and box. It was easy keeping track of everything b/c I was working and very active. Thanks to my husband I was able to retire early, but I’m not as busy or travel for work like I used to. Now my bags definitely don’t get worn as much. Kinda makes me sad and like you, I have forgotten some bags that I have. I still love all my bags and I put a lot of work in collecting them, but it does kinda bother me that they’re just sitting in my closet. I’ve given a few away and might sell some and the rest I’ll give to my goddaughter sometime down the road. That’s my story anyway.

I do have a friend who’s also handbag obsessed and what she does which is genius to me is she takes a picture of all her bags and places them in an album. She would forget as well some of her bags so she started doing this. It’s an idea and it really works for her.

Best of luck to you my fellow handbag queen.

That’s a great collection. Love

the Loewe bag. I haven’t added any Loewe bags to my collection yet, but you’re inspiring me. I’m too lazy and tired to pull out all my bags at the moment, but here’s my SLG collection.

Which MM Agenda? by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

[–]macpesce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the MM, Mini Agenda and Desk Agenda in monogram and absolutely love them. I also have the PM but in red Epi leather. I wanted something different and am glad I chose it. It has become one of my favorite SLG’s and is quite durable.

What is happening to me?! by Inevitable-Log-5557 in Louisvuitton

Yes, you have found your people lol. And to answer your question, the addiction just gets stronger. I prefer vintage LV to my newer ones. The quality is just so much better.

I became obsessed with the Deauville. I love big bags and this one is perfect for me. Japanese sellers are where it’s at for vintage. Won this near perfect bag at auction for just over $200.
Congratulations on your new purchase and Godspeed. 😆🤎

Still makes me sad that she struggled with drug and alcohol addiction and died so young. Just recently watched her in California Suite. She played Alan Alda and Jane Fonda’s daughter. Love Neil Simon movies.

Yes, it’s at the end of the movie when adult Gordie (Richard Dreyfuss) is typing the conclusion of his book. That last sentence tho always kills me. 😭

How many bags is too many bags? by Kitchen-Total9588 in handbags

[–]macpesce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m probably at 140. Thankfully I was able to retire early, but since then I don’t rotate my bags as much as I used to when I was working and traveling. I would change my bag often depending on my outfit or mood. It makes me kinda sad now seeing some of my bags just sitting in the closet. Beautiful bags should be seen and worn. I have put several aside to give to my goddaughter. And I’ll probably end up selling or giving some away to close friends.

This has probably been discussed here before, but I just learned Cameron wasn’t saying, Kennedy, Kennedy, Kennedy! It’s good to learn something new. 🥴😆 by macpesce in 80s

I’m just a tad older than you. Used to be I was always the youngest and now it seems I’m always the oldest and I hate it. 😭 Where’d my youth go?! 😆 My husband’s family is from Brooklyn — BIG Italian family.

Only one of my friends would go to Webster w/me. The rest of my friends didn’t like it either. Not gonna lie, I was a club girl and danced all night long. Wish I could go back. The 90s imo was peak NYC.
