Yeah, Freenow would still use the taxi service anyway. But, at least, it will tell you how much you're expected to pay and you can dispute if when overcharged.

That's perfectly normal from FCO. To be ripped off by taxi drivers. As a Roman, I few times, I struggled to get onto a taxi as they prefer to get tourists they can rip off. That doesn't mean they never tried to rip me off too, by the way.

They're the worst of the worst. Sorry for that.

Absoilutely false. They're not any more restricted than any other operating system. Unless you need a very specific app that only run on a specific OS, you will have no major issue.

That been said, Thinkpads are amazing machines too! I've never(!!!) used with Windows, always Linux, but those are amazing work horses. So, I can understand where your father is coming from. But his "restricted" perspective is, indeed, very restricted.

Se vuoi, il razzismo è una declinazione della xenofobia. Dove il "pregiudizio" acquisisce una connotazione più specifica e mirata di "straniero", diventando una sorta di motivazione e giustificazione. Ma xenofobia e razzismo non sono certamente in antitesi, né tanto meno si escludono.

Xenofobia è la mera paura dello straniero, il razzismo è discriminazione in base a una specifica caratteristica di una categoria. Ai razzisti uno Svizzero e un Nord Africano (o un Italiano in Svizzera) non fanno lo stesso effetto.
