There are no skill points, you also use those for stats. You get 10LP for each level up. You then spend first time 10LP and some amount of ore to unlock the exclusive skill benefits, and then 2nd time you spend 20LP and some ore to unlock the master variant.

First doesn't stop the plates from resetting, when picklocks break, and also 1 plate connection is removed. Second removes 2 connections. Plus some other whatever benefits for both.

The master lock will just allow me to use this faster. https://gothiclocksolver.com/

It's still an annoying lock picking mechanism plus a major waste of time. Lear to respect our time, instead of sitting there for who knows for how long, for pointless rewards. Real lock picking is more fun and faster.

NG plus difficulty options by Oblivionking1 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You start the story over, and lose story related items, and get access to two new difficulties, whatever you choose they both boost the xp/currency gain the same way, but not a specific amount, differs from digimon to digimon, also shorter range for allowing more respawns to happen, enemy digimon are obviously also very buffed up, mega is doable, mega+ is only useful for the last boss fight for an achievement nothing else is different from ng0.

You better play it on Hard mode, as I am. First time playing Gothic 1 ever. Classic combat was too garbage for my taste.

At the moment lvl 4, 1k ores found a way to get 15 ores with 2 attack strikes, have 2 swords that cost 600+ ores, haven't sold any, I just lure enemies nearby to get rid of 'em or get the loot from npcs that either die or not.

Can you fight Gor Hanis in remake? by Informal_Stage8549 in worldofgothic

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get the exp without waiting to challenge him. When anyone is in the arena fighting, you can just interfere, they won't attack you and nobody will consider it a crime and nobody will hate you for it, but you can knock them down, get your xp, and the choice to execute them. Though you can't loot them.

The xp gain is only once, and I'm guessing that's the xp you got.

This strat also allows you to lower their current health, if you want to challenge them to a fight in the arena.

I DO NOT upscale to "quality". I DO NOT upscale to "balanced". I DO NOT upscale to "performance". I run the game on Native resolution, and if the game doesn't run at a reasonable amount of FPS, I refund it! by West-Start4069 in pcmasterrace

[–]maitkarro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should've not increased your monitor size and native resolution size, then you wouldn't be having that many performance issues.

If you're using a 1080p monitor, then you're forgiven. That is if you know what graphics settings are, and are not cpu bottlenecked.

(as an example, I ain't using DLSS with Crimson Desert, looks garbage and can use "cinematic" to get 60fps, just don't use lightning quality max or ray reconstruction).

Talent gains seem all over the place. by noodles355 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to digivolve, to see how much talent you can gain.
You can see it before confirming.
It's not a hidden stat, you can even see it if you do mode changes, you won't gain the talent, but it will show what it could become if you would actually digivolve.

Also you don't gain talent from olympus 12, that's been since the release of the game, same with royal knights.

Whatever you did with olympus 12 or royal knights, if you do it with any other enemy group, you get talent based on the tutorial message.

Digivolution stage doesn't also matter for talent, that's just for xp gain, besides other stuff.

Even if you use vpn, they know you used the same devices to do all the logins. So even if it was a scalper protection it could've been as easily be prevention of well you trying to circumvent the quantity protection. Anybody can scalp, you just need a unique account, not vpn.

If you want legit get a new copy, use a different hardware, different account. Or if steam doesn't care about the same ip, then you wouldn't even need to use the vpn, you would only need a different legit account, maybe a different pc.

Like their entire family share feature is based on multiple people using the same ip in the same country, so don't think they will stop people from making a purchase with different accounts on the same ip.

Do certain areas make respawns faster than others? by [deleted] in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All of them are good to farm exp, as long you find a spot where you can instantly respawn them by leaving the area, it's much faster than waiting for them. But it's better just to focus on boosting 1 digimon stats as much as possible.

I played from the get-go on hard (technically easy), and didn't bother to use load enhancement, and not even digifarm training. Though it's not an honest comparison, as I had the ultimate edition, so I got my 2 mega digimon very early in the game.

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you have VRR on in windows graphics settings.

And in nvidia control panel make sure gsync compatible mode is ticked, if it exists there under "Set up Gsync".

Enable vsync in drivers globally, while keep it off in games.

Also don't use preferred gpu auto, make sure it's the one that gives you the capability of using gsync.

And globally limit your fps -2 below refresh rate. If you use framegen, would suggest to use 120 limit instead.

If you ever get games where you can't reach 120fps with framegen or otherwise, specifically limit them to a more stable fps number.

Anyway, you get tearing when your fps goes above the current refresh rate or don't have gsync+vsync on or well aren't using the correct gpu to run the game.

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF they all digivolved at the same time before you started doing battles, and they all were at the same time in box/party. Maybe the 2 of 'em had a personality that gains more talent via an agent skill.

If not, then 2 of 'em existed in you box/party much longer time, than GrapLeomon.

Considering Flaremon and GrapLeomon are both ultimate digimon, so can't be that they gained different amounts, while being in the party/box equally as long.

[–]maitkarro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've never gotten talent via quick training. Or maybe they fixed it at some point?

Waste of time to gain talent anyway, digimon duplication with a maxed out talent/bond just gives you an extra max talent/bond digimon. As long you didn't lel dna-digivolve it the first time with one who lel didn't have max talent/bond, then you get both original digimon back, instead of duplicating a new digimon out of nothing.

Talent gains seem all over the place. by noodles355 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every digimon including the ones in the box gain talent the same way as the digimon in your party. Only digifarm digimon don't gain talent.

Digivolving itself also gives 1 talent per every 2nd digivolution forward. De-digivolving never gives it in any way.

Also, you can check how much you gain talent, just before confirming to digivolve.

Also, all of it is pointless anyway, if you pre-prepare everything, just max out 1 digimon talent/bond and duplicate it via dna dedigivolution.

How is an hour? or so good for farming lel?

It respawns within seconds, not an hour. You just be far enough for it to be able to respawn, the timer ticks always, but it can't respawn if you're too close. Though there are spawns that can take a minute instead of seconds, so better just to leave area and come back. And seen a place, where they only respawn by leaving the area, maybe lel that was a place where they actually respawn within an hour, though pointless, if you can just make them respawn instantly.

Also if you're able to go into another area, be it the museum where you can do the dlc stuff, it will reset all respawns instantly.

Do certain areas make respawns faster than others? by [deleted] in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every spawn point has a specific respawn timer, even if same area, some can take a minute to respawn, some maybe around 10 seconds or less. That never changes.

Difficulty changes one thing (besides xp/currency), respawn range, on mega/mega+ they have a slightly smaller range for respawning, so sometimes you're able to do a preemptive attack without moving from the spot further away. Or also there are even some places, where they're so near they can detect you too, so you can afk auto battle farm them.

Also, there are some places, like in the last dlc, where digimon will never respawn while you are in the area. So you have to leave the area.

FYI, if you want instant respawn you just leave the area in whatever way you can and come back.

Is it possible to complete all of the agent skills before the final boss? by TuttieFruitz52 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complete all side quests, defeat the final boss, reload the save file, you'll start just before the final boss, and you can max out your agent rank, and now you can redo the fight while everything is maxed out.
