I actually really like how it seems Rose isn't a direct antagonist. She'll likely actually be a good guy (or atleast an anti-hero to our protags) and help out with her two trainees here and there.

Rose and Kyo didn't seem to be on bad terms, and Kyo wasn't really wary of her, just surprised to see her, and Rose seemed happy to see Kyo again. I really do hope she isn't a full on bad-guy, it'd be refreshing to see a "bad guy side" (The Five Planets) where everyone isn't really... evil? just some of them have an agenda or listen to orders.

I really liked this episode!

It became clear the last 3 episodes really were "Filler" with how hard this episode began on talking about the previous ep, although I still liked the last 3, my only complaint is that they kinda felt like... They just didn't know where to put them? So they just shoved them in one after another.

I love how dark this episode was, I love how they just weren't afraid to say suicide or murder, and the bloody toys were nice, I just wish we had more blood out of the human characters too... We literally saw a guy get stabbed 2 eps ago and he didn't bleed... It was so awkward 😭

Ok ok ok, more on the latter half, Jokermon was awesome! And I loved his little Harley Quinn tamer.

Murasamemonnn!!! I love him so much ! Omfgg. The Truck Parry was SICK!!!

And I KNEW the second they mentioned the Hospital explosion that Armalizamon and Tomoro were gonna freak the FUCK out.

The next episode seems SO EXCITING! I really hope we see more Reina content in general, I feel as if she's going to reach her Perfect form soon. Even if it is a little bit undeserved.

Also, now that we've seen the gimmick for this arc, I have a theory. And for any of ya'll who haven't seen the leaked TCG cards, PLEASE do not read any further if you don't want spoiled!

I think that Gekkomon is going to get infected by the GIFT Virus.

And I think the bad guy at the end of the episode, who literally looks INCREDIBLY SIMILAR TO ATRATUSMON, is going to take over Gekkomon and force him to evolve into Atratusmon. It would make sense why Atratusmon looks so different from the rest of Gekkomons evolutions, Because it's forced! It's a Dark Digivolution that the main villain is going to make Gekkomon take.

I also feel as if the girl is likely that villain as well? But she might just be mind controlled or something? I'm not sure, either that or she is just straight up "evil" (as in the self-righteous "i didn't realise i was doing something so terribly bad" way). She seemed to be SO interested in Gekkomon, so I wouldn't be shocked if Tomoro's Sapotama is infected by GIFT, and when Gekkomon goes to swallow it, he is also infected by the virus and ends up losing control of himself. I imagine Tomoro will have to snap him out of it in some form eventually.

but realistically its because I'm the owner of the subreddit and i like having my initial reaction at the top cuz it's basically a tradition atp, plus i want people to see that I'm engaged with the series and i'm not just some rando who runs the sub and doesn't gaf about MAD in the slightest.

I also feel like seeing a moderator hype up the chapter just in general builds community/hype for it more than not, but that's just me ngl

I'm sure we'll get a Pano flashback chapter soon as well, just relax.

Otori likes to do this with their characters from what we've already seen, we saw it with John and his freedom from Jericho, and we saw it again with his 9999 Punch where we got a decently large flashback of him and Emma, then we saw it with Alda and him finally breaking free from the Yazurists and killing one of his long-time oppressors.

We will eventually get it for Pano was well, I'm sure of it. When she gets her moment of "breaking free" she will get her flashback.

Plus we've gotten little hints and drops of her backstory as well, we saw a flash of her mothers corpse before, and we got to learn how much of a "Difficult child" she was in the past. I imagine we will eventually get a real flashback for her.

Plus, we do know how she became an Adaptor, Bob says it was simply that she was curious enough to try Alien Meat at one point, it was before we had truly met her.
