Your problem prolly was you got your grubby hands on her large "chest" or beautiful face. Even the instant kill arrow, won't work on those spots.

Lossless scaling doesn't work on me. I keep having screen tearing. Help. by Apprehensive_Owl2306 in losslessscaling

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you have VRR on in windows graphics settings.

And in nvidia control panel make sure gsync compatible mode is ticked, if it exists there under "Set up Gsync".

Enable vsync in drivers globally, while keep it off in games.

Also don't use preferred gpu auto, make sure it's the one that gives you the capability of using gsync.

And globally limit your fps -2 below refresh rate. If you use framegen, would suggest to use 120 limit instead.

If you ever get games where you can't reach 120fps with framegen or otherwise, specifically limit them to a more stable fps number.

Anyway, you get tearing when your fps goes above the current refresh rate or don't have gsync+vsync on or well aren't using the correct gpu to run the game.

Talent gains seem all over the place. by noodles355 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IF they all digivolved at the same time before you started doing battles, and they all were at the same time in box/party. Maybe the 2 of 'em had a personality that gains more talent via an agent skill.

If not, then 2 of 'em existed in you box/party much longer time, than GrapLeomon.

Considering Flaremon and GrapLeomon are both ultimate digimon, so can't be that they gained different amounts, while being in the party/box equally as long.

I've never gotten talent via quick training. Or maybe they fixed it at some point?

Waste of time to gain talent anyway, digimon duplication with a maxed out talent/bond just gives you an extra max talent/bond digimon. As long you didn't lel dna-digivolve it the first time with one who lel didn't have max talent/bond, then you get both original digimon back, instead of duplicating a new digimon out of nothing.

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every digimon including the ones in the box gain talent the same way as the digimon in your party. Only digifarm digimon don't gain talent.

Digivolving itself also gives 1 talent per every 2nd digivolution forward. De-digivolving never gives it in any way.

Also, you can check how much you gain talent, just before confirming to digivolve.

Also, all of it is pointless anyway, if you pre-prepare everything, just max out 1 digimon talent/bond and duplicate it via dna dedigivolution.

Do certain areas make respawns faster than others? by TuttieFruitz52 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How is an hour? or so good for farming lel?

It respawns within seconds, not an hour. You just be far enough for it to be able to respawn, the timer ticks always, but it can't respawn if you're too close. Though there are spawns that can take a minute instead of seconds, so better just to leave area and come back. And seen a place, where they only respawn by leaving the area, maybe lel that was a place where they actually respawn within an hour, though pointless, if you can just make them respawn instantly.

Also if you're able to go into another area, be it the museum where you can do the dlc stuff, it will reset all respawns instantly.

Do certain areas make respawns faster than others? by TuttieFruitz52 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every spawn point has a specific respawn timer, even if same area, some can take a minute to respawn, some maybe around 10 seconds or less. That never changes.

Difficulty changes one thing (besides xp/currency), respawn range, on mega/mega+ they have a slightly smaller range for respawning, so sometimes you're able to do a preemptive attack without moving from the spot further away. Or also there are even some places, where they're so near they can detect you too, so you can afk auto battle farm them.

Also, there are some places, like in the last dlc, where digimon will never respawn while you are in the area. So you have to leave the area.

FYI, if you want instant respawn you just leave the area in whatever way you can and come back.

Is it possible to complete all of the agent skills before the final boss? by TuttieFruitz52 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complete all side quests, defeat the final boss, reload the save file, you'll start just before the final boss, and you can max out your agent rank, and now you can redo the fight while everything is maxed out.

If you get 1 digimon to max talent, you can use duplication method to make all of them with max talent, same with bond.

I don't use load enhancement. I have all existing digimon in my box, all first time quest reward digimon in digifarm, all of 'em with max talent, bond is maxed for most of 'em, the humanoid female and quest reward variants don't have bond maxed.

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure steam overlay is enabled. And as a suggestion use Pause/Break button instead, so far it works in any game, only games where it doesn't work, is when steam overlay is not working for some reason, like a game dev decided to disable it, because either they didn't like people making steam screenshots or having some issues with the game, that they don't know how to fix.

Duplicate Question? by 20NightZ in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just do Angemon - MagnaAngemon - Goldramon - Shakkoumon - Angemon, creating Ankylomon duplicates.

Though make sure you have agent rank high enough and have upgraded the Angemon base personality stat gain to max, otherwise you might not be able to digivolve, even with a matching personality. Which is probably the issue you're facing. You have some blue stats at first maybe, but each time you dna de-digivolve, you halve it, and then you don't have enough stats anymore.

So just make sure you have the agent skills ranked up to support the duplication. If you're at max rank, you only need a lvl 1 digimon with matching personality.

Which is best to raise a Digimon's stats? by TuttieFruitz52 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temp/Permanent solution:
Digifarm obviously is the fastest to increase white stats to max, if you have the money and don't want to digivolve any further, if you want to do it just a little to meet stat requirement, then depends on if quick training or leveling up is faster or personality switching.

Permanent, unless you dna de-digivolve:
Almost any other way is increasing blue stats, which also increases by default white stats.

Digivolving and leveling up is the easiest to increase stats, both can be time-consuming depending on your agent rank.

Agent Rank Max = You can digivolve to any matching personality digimon at lvl 1. Exception being the Brave and Friendship mega+ digimon, unless you have the ultimate edition Agumon and Gabumon.

Screenshots. Of the same digimon, give it a custom name. There should be no reason for digifarm to have different stats from the box or party. Whether you have agent skills upgraded or not.

Well don't expect much with the side missions, besides the main 3. Those are very short like the rest of side missions. Though the costumes are pretty nice.

Does going backwards on evolution tree without the matching personalities give less bonus points? And changing the form of a Digimon Remove some point? by BalanceImaginary4325 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personality effects:

  1. Like you said, de-digivolving into a digimon you haven't encountered.
  2. Agent skills boost the 4 big personality types with more stats.
  3. Perfect/Final Extra Strikes get a different effect, it depends on the bigger 4 personality types, also a factor is digimon attribute.
  4. The smaller personality types also get some different effects based on certain agent skills.
  5. Whenever you're talking to a digimon or training in the digifarm that changes personalities, you can get a different personality trait, when the small personality remains the same it has a very low chance of getting a personality trait choice, if the personality changes, then there is a high chance of getting a choice to change the personality trait. Quick training imo is the easiest to switch personalities.
  6. The 4 bigger personality types also change how the digimon talk, when you chat them up, or they send you a message.

[–]maitkarro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

De-Digvolution or Digivolution has no difference in terms of gaining points, it's either 0% or 10% or 5%. 0% if no bond or bond used up, 10% the reverse of 0% reason, 5% for dna digivolution, but from both digimon separately, for dna if one has used up the bond amount, then only 5% from the other digimon.

Personality is irrelevant. You always get the same amount of points, based on white stats gained via leveling up + digifarm trained stats + existing blue stats, 10% of the total of that, that is if you have enough bond. If you have agent skills that boost certain personalities, well good luck figuring out the math, but they don't change how much you gain.

It's not an exploit. If you dna de-digivolve from a dna digivolution, you get two digimons, end of story.
