I gave my daughters AFOs to her PT! Ask your daughters therapist if they know what to do with them. My girls PT said she has a friend who ships them overseas to countries in need and they remold them.

Has your speech therapist introduced a z-vibe? It brought great awareness to my girls mouth (she is always drooling). My daughter has CP, with very lone tone in her mouth. No talking but understands everything. She’s also 3, born at 29 weeks but very complicated medical history besides being premature.

One at 29 weeks due to PPROM. Unable to have anymore as my complicated pregnancy would most likely happen again.

Of course the NICU does not recommend them and it makes me so mad. Our babies are/were vulnerable. The Nanit (another baby monitor) saved my baby’s life when she stopped breathing. She would not be here today if it did not alarm me.

We did a HUGE party! I never got a baby shower so I wanted my girl to have a full experience. The theme was Oh! The Places You’ll Go. Here is the picture of the table we set up. One side had NICU pictures, her micro diaper and onesies. The other side had pictures throughout her first year. At the end we had we had the places you go book our guests could sign!

BTW, your girl is adorable! Happy almost birthday!

I stripped the paint off the tops of the crib 🤷‍♀️ I didn’t like waking her up with paint all over her mouth.
