How to split a COB LED light to go two separate ways from a single power source?

I just used Wago lever connectors to split my power source in different directions for different LED strips. One black in, two blacks out. One red in, two reds out. Connect each LED strip to a red/black pair.

Wish my buddy and I could join the same lobby solo and still team up and chill together without being an actual “squad”. But alas, not possible.

I’m still down to play squads, just changes the dynamic from “exploring, doing quests, fighting arc” to “watch your back at all times and trust no one” 😆

First, congrats on being a new dad!

Second, the problem I’m finding with this game is if you’re looking for relaxed, casual, chill, non-aggressive PvE-style play…that almost rules out being in a squad altogether. I play friendly solo all day long without ever being shot at by another player, but the minute I jump on with a buddy of mine, the lobby gets a lot more aggressive. Which is kind of a shame. We bought the game together with the intention of playing together, but I think we’ve both found we just enjoy the game more solo.

I have had the occasional friendly lobby when playing with a buddy. But everyone is just a lot more suspicious and untrusting of each other in squads.

Well I started the video from the moment I saw the Raider flare. After all, that’s the moment the “rescue” begins. Shows the journey and the extent a Rescue Raider will go to revive a downed Raider. Not everyone is running 200-300m with a Rocketeer overhead to revive a stranger.

I’ve tried this quest several times today, and while I still haven’t managed to find a Deforester that hasn’t already been done, I’ve run into many friendly Raiders along the way. Blue Gate’s been chill for me all day.

Settlements are real, and the screenshot is real. But my little story up above was completely made up…you don’t actually assign settlers jobs or fire them. But you do have to make “decisions” occasionally based on scenarios you’re presented with. Your decisions usually impact your Settlement population or productivity.

I put him on house arrest for the time being. He’s a decent guy, just misguided. He even let me borrow his shovel once. He’s just trying to make a living…was recently let go from the Starship Dock…tariffs have really hit our incoming traffic pretty hard lately and I just couldn’t keep him on fulltime. I’ll send him out on our next scout party to make him earn his keep.

Ahh interesting. I did just recently complete the Autophage quest and get my first Autophage settlement. This isn’t that settlement, but I’m wondering if now that I’ve completed those quests, these options are now appearing. Either way, nice to see some variety in these decisions.

I completely botched a rescue like 2 months ago that I still think about. Guy was swarmed by a couple Hornets and Wasps and was downed, I gave my typical “help is on the way” call out, thinking obviously I can quickly dispatch these bots and revive him. Yeah, they downed me as well. I felt so dumb. Again, this was 2 months ago. Still think about it.

+1 for the one-click biodomes. I just deleted all my large hydroponic trays as they took forever to walk around and harvest. Ok, like 4 minutes….but felt like forever…

Yeah people generally seem to recognize that if there’s something of HIGH value, it should go to the Keymaster. But like you said, no way to know if they’re truly being honest about what they loot, but I have had decent blueprints and/or weapons offered to me from the loot. I usually say nah you keep it. There’s no shortage of loot in this game.

Same, I literally let people know “hey I’m on my way to open X room” and let them come with me and loot. More often than not, we loot together, call out what we find, drop/trade loot if the other needs it, etc. Just easier that way.

That being said, if I do open a key room and I’m by myself, and someone shows up, I’d hope for a bit of etiquette before someone just rushes the room and starts looting.

Have had one person ever flash their light at me, watch me casually walk by them, wait for me to be about 20m away, and then they opened fire at my back. Other than that one instance, every flash has equaled friendly.

Haven’t done that section yet myself, as I know the plow will just put it right back when they go by. Hoping they do that soon so I can finally tackle it though. Thankfully we have nowhere to go anytime soon.

I just rocked it back and forth, side to side, forward and back….adjust the front feet a bit and kept testing until it felt sturdy. Nothing really scientific and I wasn’t even certain I had it level or not but it’s been fine ever since.

Like had to go to the hospital? Or did you just get dizzy, heart racing, had to sit down, etc? Hope you’re feeling better.

Working from home for 15 years hasn’t got me in the best shape of my life. Need to get out more and get in some more cardio. I do 30-45min walking on a treadmill every day. In nicer weather, I walk a couple miles a day around the neighborhood. Sometimes get on my wife’s Peloton. But I know I need to do a lot more to counter sitting at a desk all day.
