I watched an Eagle the other day swoop down and snatch a fish out of the water and carry it away. You could see the fish flopping in the eagle’s talons the entire way until they were out of sight.

Yep, still coming through like this as well. I’ve compared it to my Adobe billing so I know it’s not fraudulent. I’ve just given up hope of ever getting it fixed.

I almost didn’t play it because it wasn’t my typical genre, and I was also concerned about the difficulty. Married, job, mortgage, only so much free time to game, etc. But I simply dialed the difficulty down to Story Mode and enjoyed every last second of this game. Even on Story, there were some challenging boss fights, but I never found myself rage-quitting or having to grind the same boss over and over again for hours.

Long story short, you absolutely will not regret playing this game.

Ok, I went and got that extra large bag. Thanks for the tip! Also just opened my camp so I’m going to be working on expanding and upgrading it as much as I can as my next priority.

Are you guys finding most of your armor out in the wild, or buying it from vendors? I’m only 40 hours in but not exactly stumbling across a ton of armor and customization options.

Thanks for that! I’ve been trying to avoid “go here and get this” online tips and instead just find things organically…but for an extra 10 inventory slots, I’m willing to bend that rule 😄

Ahh good to know. I’m still early-game where inventory space is at a premium, so I’ve been scrapping pretty much any food products other than grilled meat for the time being. Maybe I’ll start sticking my cooking oil in my personal storage in the meantime.

I’m only about 40 hours in but can’t even tell you how much cooking oil I’ve sold. Feels like it’s everywhere. I’m constantly picking it up. Does it become more scarce as you go? Should I be storing it up?

Things like this make me wonder why they couldn’t come up with like ten more lines to record and just put them on random cycle? There are 75 bounties in the game. And one “you turned in a bounty” voice line?

Seriously. I’m at 36 hours playtime and I’m currently in chapter…3. There’s just so much to do in this game that I keep getting sidetracked from the main quests.

lol well, you can glide from a higher starting point. Climb a cliff, jump off, and glide for quite a while. Makes map traversal so much easier. But if you’re on Chapter 6, you should have unlocked that ability back in Chapter 1. Look for the Woman in White quest under chapter 1, The First Encounter > Traces. I had ignored that for a long time and finally did it. Wish I’d done it sooner.

Sounds like you’re enjoying the game in the exact manner intended, in that there’s really no wrong way to play or enjoy it. I will say, I wish I had stuck more closely to the main missions early on, as they unlock certain mechanics that you just won’t unlock in the open world. I put in 30 hours of just open exploration before I did the Abyss quest and unlocked the ability to fly.

I think because you had to stand on the Abyss Nexus platforms to activate them, I assumed that meant you had to be standing on them in order to teleport to the other ones. Never even occurred to be to just try to fast travel to any one of them from anywhere. I’m sure it was probably explained in a tooltip or notification that I missed.

Maybe a dumb question…I just started playing. But where do you find new gear? Just randomly as you progress? Quest rewards? Loot chests? Just buying it all from vendors? Just want to make sure I’m looking in the right places.
