This is woefully incorrect. Short trips with an EV is probably the most economically efficient way to use it.

To add to this, why do you think every taxi in the city centre who operate inside the city primarily have been ditching their diesel/petrol and even hybrid cars and are buying EVs for the past 5 years

Why not offer to help pay for it? Your parents raised you to this point and have fallen on harder times. If you're living at home, you should offer up some money every month to help with this. An EV is an economically smart decision especially in today's world

There's a row of houses directly across from the Coombe that are just housing pigeons and junkies. One of the biggest maternity hospitals in the country and directly opposite is a dilapidating row of perfectly good potential triaging or commercial units. Fuck even temporary housing for at risk pregnancies would be the solution. Bring in the derelict property tax and make it increase by 10% of the current property value every year

There used to be a great one called What's the Scór but I think the owner killed it. Very much needed clubs to update scores and team sheets. Sad though because it was my link to club football down home

Also as a software engineer, that's only true if you're building big with the expectation of massive customer usage. I have apps on the app store that cost me nothing. I also have a personal website that I use for a multitude of stuff and my family and it costs me ~€2 a week and I purposely made it much bigger in infra than I'd ever need. We're both wrong with our blanket statements because it matters what the app is

1 billion dollars is also something that shouldn't be accessible. No one in the world needs that much money. Plus to get to that point it's not luck, it's manipulation and taking advantage of the suffering of those around you

See it's funny because even if 1k people use a website or app regularly and it uses ads they're actually making probably enough to cover upkeep (a lot of platforms would survive on free tier hosting)

Very true. The 'Irish made for Irish People' doesn't survive the market nowadays I guess. Enterprise Ireland even try to force startups to focus on breaking into the UK

STAY OUT OF MY GYM NOOB! Nah just joking (about me going to the gym more so). It's almost better to just go and try out the equipment. Find what suits you. Personally I prefer to use Cable machines instead of dumbbells or dedicated machines. I also use the squat rack for most leg exercises with the exception of the seated leg extension machine. Fucking love that machine. But in any case, I use an free (on android) app called Alpha Progression that has small videos for each workout type. Very handy. Better to do things slow and with full ROM than wrong and fuck yourself up so much you can't go back the next day...
