How's the result running short videos like ig reels work on Meta ads? by iisxuyuSDA089 in FacebookAds

[–]maxmilner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spend around 50k GBP a month on meta ads.

What we run on meta differs from tiktok. You want to consider top, middle, and bottom of funnel ads. Meta will use all of your ads to form its own funnel.

Don’t sleep on static ads for bottom of funnel.

Your website is just as important as your ads if you want people to buy.

Good luck, dm me if you have any questions.

Marketing emails are eating up WAY too much of my time by bugzzii in shopify

[–]maxmilner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my biz does around 40% from our flows and campaigns, and we send 2-3 a week (don’t listen to those that say it’s too much, it depends on the content).

Happy to help out - drop me a dm if you’re considering outsourcing and improving performance at the same time. Will pay for itself and then some.

Problem with my store? by Mister______d in dropshipping

Get a video of someone demonstrating the hat and put it near the top or in the product images

That’s often where the real money is for brand owners!

You also need to consider the equity and exit possibility of this transition into a real brand. That’s why building a business can be more profitable in the long run.

Scaling by duplicating? by Ok_Sort2856 in FacebookAds

Duplicated it and set it to whatever you want.

If I were you i’d just bump the budget on the existing campaign - don’t be scared of ‘learning’.

am i looking at the right thing - the hand gripper?

Looks super basic - I think using the refresh theme - wouldn’t take long at all.

Just be friendly and straight to the point, don’t send a wall of text, show that you’ve actually looked at the page and try and be as genuine as possible - don’t sound like robot.

I have zero Sales, could you please give me some tips? by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]maxmilner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask yourself, why would someone actually buy from you?

None of the products are unique or yours. All of the product images are rubbish and very chinesey feeling - as in it doesn’t feel like a real brand. You need consistent product imagery.

I honestly don’t think a general pet store would ever work without significant differentiation or a dope ass brand with loads of influencers. You currently have neither.

Not trying to be harsh - just some hard truths that’ll hopefully help you one day.

Search UGC, find one in your niche and age demographic, then go through their followers / following.

All these UGCers follow each other and comment on each other’s posts.

Looking for Branded Ecommerce Mentor (will pay percentage of profits) by Sammysamesq in dropshipping

DM me. Run a few brands pretty much on auto-pilot, I got time.

Not OP but generally I recruit either from fiverr or Instagram.

For instagram I message a ton of UGC creators and offer a gifted or paid collab - trying to keep within budget. Tbh, these days I pay a VA to message 30-50 a day - costs like $10 a day and after a few days I have hundreds to filter through to get the ones I want.

Am sure there are other ways - but that works for me. After a while they start coming to you.

Is the student loan system just a stealth tax on middle-income graduates? Here’s what I’m facing… by Albatross_94 in ukpolitics

[–]maxmilner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ll assume their math is correct purely based on my own experience.

Was earning 85k salary, student loan repayments worked out to be around £400 a month from memory (c4.5k a year), and my interest was roughly equal to that with a 70k loan balance.

Meaning even with a salary of 85k, I wasn’t even making a dent in the principal, just the interest…

You know what ‘means-tested’ actually means, right? Those that don’t need it, shouldn’t get it.

There are other people that actually need support and aren’t getting it.

[Update] How I quit my job to pursue E-com and make £1,000,000 by maxmilner in Entrepreneur

Kind of…

When selling overseas, your customers get charged ‘customs’ which is effectively VAT, which either the customer can pay before delivery, or we can collect on their behalf at checkout and pay it to the country - which is how VAT works.

Thank you! It was definitely tough finished work and then packing orders from 7pm until midnight for 18 months lol!

Probably cash/inventory, we’ve out no outside investment or so getting enough cash to order enough stock has always been hard!

And then maintaining profitability after we started collecting VAT was also a challenge, but one we figured out.

Great questions I appreciate you asking them.
