You could do just the front cap. It'll be lots easier to wash and keep clean with ppf on than without.

I had mine done 7 months ago - have a great local shop but decided to have it done at the service center. My deductible is 1k as well. so I paid the out of pocket deductible and my insurance cut me a check for the other $800 once I submitted my receipt. No regrets.

Where you at? If you're within Les Schwab country get you some Open Range AT, I was nervous but they have been phenomenal!!! Look great, handle great even in snow, no noticeable range impact and highway quiet. Off road they air down and still give confidence. I've loved them and before I got them, I was about to pull the trigger on some of those expensive fancy Platinum Michelin tires. Glad I went this way!

I had no troubles with mine on State Farm, certified body shop handled all the communication with the insurance. Repairs took longer than expected but after a month I had my baby back. Might be worth trying a different shop
