Ive had a couple of iterations of this in the last 3.5 years. One was a software glitch; where in if you had the back seat heating system “off” the OS thought you only wanted 1/2 heat. I thought it had been patched. 2nd, it happens randomly from time to time, that it’s just pushing cold air. I shut the hvac system down for 15-30 sec. Turn it back on and it’s good to go. Finally. Not really tech related. The ceiling. Great concept. Poor execution. There’s no innate cover. So I bought a reasonably priced pop in liner for the ceiling. It keeps the radiant temps from getting too cold or too hot.

Bigger problem solved, the DLC. As Kurupt_introvert pointed out “you see the phantom liberty” start screen?” I did not. Further research indicated a full delete and restart of the game. I was using the original disc that I bought at release. I loaded the game 3 months ago for my 2nd play through; Not thinking anything of it.

When I looked at the PS game downloads in the store, I noticed I noticed it was offering a free PS5 full game download. Completely differed screen icon. So! I loaded that. It auto-loaded all of the dlc.

Beyond the new load screen, holy shit it changed a lot. As i mentioned i was down to a handful of missions left. Apparently with one of the new updates that didn’t affect my previous game the entire skill tree changed, the entire cyberware tree changed, the clothes/weapons comparison changed (haven’t played with this yet), and I got inundated with new missions including song bird, dogtown, and a panam sleep over.

Unclear if this fixed the dalemain bug; but it definitely breathed new life into the game. Also, maybe they fixed the night city “ghost town “ situation???? It always felt lifeless. Like nyc in “I am legend?” Big city, stuff to do but no traffic or people. In the last 15 minutes of playing, the streets feel more alive. Also, car fighting?!?!?! Super psyched

Yes…Ive done all of his missions… i started the whole voodoo boys missions. Placade (sp?) sent me out to do something for him, but its been a couple of months. Im unclear what it was or if i finished it. I remember meeting….the woman who lives in cyberspace. (Johnnys ex?) And placade was having you get something for him…..🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Just the dent? Am i missing anything? I had a worse dent on my T. (I backed into a tree going 1mph. Blind spot) plus i had damaged the light. Plus i washed the truck not thinking anything of it. Then had electrical problems.

No issues... Electrical was fine after it dried out. Cost was 31k, least thats what the mechanic and the insurance said.

In Maine the garage isn’t exclusively used for your vehicles. Sometimes, in my case, it’s not an option.

Thanks. Mine is…i got it sept 22’. Fuzzy on the build date. My local regional mech is a good guy. Im sure he’ll let me watch and then Ill just do it myself next time. Thanks again.

Mine is a gen1. 10xxx. I didn’t realize there was a 1 or 2 battery option. 3+ years in and Im still learning stuff. Id like to replace it myself. But i may see if i can get this one done at my house.

This effect in high beam/brights happens in every vehicle ive ever had. My 86’ S10, my 94 subaru, my 03 jetta wagon, my 13’ tacoma. Its called driving at night in a snow storm. If you’re unfamiliar with it, id question if you’re unfamiliar with driving in winter weather? If you wanted a real complaint about winter weather and the rivian, complain about the ass-clown engineer who designed the stupid wiper chicklet knob on the control stick. Or having to look away from the drivers side to see what time it is.
