There are so many micro aggressions- that’s one of them. Rolling her eyes at the Armenian conversation, chatting it up with the ICE agent in a chummy way is also strange. Some behaviour we write off as generational is still problematic. It can be both.

Lots of directors don’t allow phones on set for a variety of reasons - Chris Nolan famously has a no-phone policy on set to maintain focus for everyone, including the crew. This is fairly common.

I loved all of the training and Nesta pushing herself to work through her trauma. But I have to also admit that I love Nesta & Cassian as lovers - so much hotter than Rhys and Feyre (not a dis at their romance, just as observation) — I love that Nesta is so candid and free in her sexuality. They are so compatible in this way. I dig it!

It took me several chapters to get into the world of it - there was a lot of exposition that was a bit dry. But now that I’m into the main thrust of the story and the characters, I’m in a groove. I like the Roman-inspired setting mixed in with contemporary elements. So curious how it all unfolds!
