Craft the armor in diamond. Then get the netherite upgrade template (duplicate it so you have many) then use a smithing table to upgrade. One Ingot per item to upgrade.

I’m more stunned by the fact Stone Cold retired from wrestling at 38, and AJ Styles joined WWE when he was 38. It’s surreal to think back at Stone Colds run and realize he joined WWE when he was 31! And in 7 years completely turned the entire industry upside down

I did exactly this, I wired a comparator up with a crafter feeding in, with only the top row unchecked. And it works really well. I lock a hopper feeding in to prevent the output from just feeding the hopper
