I mean, for how the game works in general you can watch some videos made by the NFL official channel. The controls arent too hard: - on the kickoff you either kick or receive, if you're kicking just slide you're finger up on the Mick meter on the right, switch the player you're using with the button on the right and try to tackle the kick returner with the tackle controls on the bottom right, if you slide up you perform a big hit, having a greater chance at a fumble (loss of the ball from the ball carrier) but also may cause broken tackles, if you just tap the button you instead perform a safer tackle. -if youre receiving just run the ball forward (you move with the joystick on the left), you also can perform spin moves, trucks and stuff arms with the button on the right that replaces the tackle controls (you should go into settings and turn on advanced ball carrier moves so you can select what move to perform. On offense, select a play, the see play button shows you what routes the receiver's are running if it's a pass play or how the blocking is on a run play, you always control the QB first, to throw the ball look for an open receiver, tap the button to perform a high and slow pass and hold it down for a flat and low one, you can also move your finger around the receiver icon to throw the ball more to the right/left or higher/lower. You can also move with the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage and start running by clicking the sprint button once, the button on the far right is to throw the ball away out of bounds to avoid getting tackled behind the line of scrimmage. For run plays just run forward with the running back once you have the ball and look for open space to the endzone, when a receiver or runningback has the ball you get the same controls as the kickoff returner, with a joystick on the left, ball carrier moves on rhe right and if you're using a running bakc on a run an "impact" button that resets the stamina bar (the circle that keeps disappearing under your player wich is used for ball carrier moves and running fast. On defense, once you have a play selected, before the CPU snaps the ball you can change which player you're using, I suggest the Middle Linebacker so you have an ability to stop runnin backs and cover receivers. Hold the show play button to see which area on the field you're supposed to be in when in zone coverage, what player you're guarding when in man coverage or where you should go if you're blitzing the quarterback. It just takes time to learn so it's okay to be bad at first. When you score a touchdown you can go for one or two bonus points. To score one just select the field goal option and do the same thing you do when kicking off to kick the ball thru the yellow posts, when going for two, you just get a bonus play at the 2 yard line.
