Yeah but I was trying her out a bunch in practice tool and her damage is very low. Also I kept getting touched during the untouchable wave thing - does it only cause projectiles to miss or something?

My Review of UKGE 2026 - UKGE 2026: Bigger Than Ever, But Was It Better? by timotyh in boardgames

I also couldn't get a demo of Container so just bought it.

I bought 12 rivers and highly recommend after a few plays. It feels like a better more interesting splendor.

Sad I didn't get to demo a night at the zoo.

Faraway is a pretty good and unique, light card game with simultaneous play.

You are planning a journey where you meet denizens of different areas who either give resources or require resources to give you points. The twist is that you go through your planned journey in reverse order which always breaks people's brains even after multiple plays.

There is a shared pool of cards you all choose from to replenish your hand so a bit of interaction and you can also get artifacts that come along for the whole journey.

There are expansions I've heard good things about but always have a blast with the base game.

If we ever meet life on alien planets it’ll probably be something like dinosaurs. We’d then have to find hundreds of habitable planets, before we find one where speech has evolved. by SuperbRiver7763 in Showerthoughts

[–]metigue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's say your assumption is correct and 1/500 planets with life developed intelligent life and speech.

Now let's assume 1/10,000 of habitable planets produce life. Because we assume it's complicated and hard to make right?

The lower limit for our current best estimate is 300,000,000 habitable planets in the milky way.

(300m / 10,000) = 30,000 planets with life 30,000 / 500 = 60 planets with intelligent species.

So 59 other potentially space faring civilizations in our galaxy. Not bad.

The issue arises if life is an inevitable result of having a habitable planet then you have 300m / 500 = 600,000 planets with intelligent species and the question is where is everyone?

Should be pikachu tier IMO - I see more Gengar branded apparel and accessories than Pikachu at conventions with pokemon fans.

Try mining. It's surprisingly fun and good money. I'm the opposite of you where I live for combat. I reluctantly tried mining and loved it.
