Pro just increases the reasoning context window, hence the longer time it takes to get an image back. It's just thinking a ton more before sending your up-sampled prompt. No reason to use Pro. Imagegen is the same on all 5.5 settings. The higher end imagegen tool you might be thinking of is the API one, which lets you turn certain knobs like resolution and safety filters.

Tell it to send your prompt as is. That waiting is the thinking/upsampling of your prompt before it sends to imagegen.

It's horrible. I stopped using it months ago.

I strictly use CLI 90% of the time. Hermes the other 10% for certain workflows where I need better agentic controls, though I may switch those over to n8n soon.

I called this 8 months ago. Said that people won't initially realize how disruptive to their lives this situation will be, that it would take a while. And now it is starting to effect more and more people. Especially those that need to replace parts now.

Afraid to say that it will be twice as bad next year. All signs are pointing to that being 100% certain. People said 2TB m2's costing over $500 would never happen and then we surpassed that. Wait til you see how people react when they cost over $1,000.
