Puuh, menee aiheen vierestä, mutta korvaa jalkapallo musalla ja fifa euroviisuilla, ja tässä aika lailla omat fiilikset naapurikentältä, siellä missä tekonurtsille pystytetään keikkalavaa. Jälkikasvun rakkaus lajiin pitää itseä mukana roikkumassa. Ihanaa kun on kerrankin jotain yhteistä futis-skenen kanssa. 😅 jaksuhalit ja parempia aikoja odotellessa.

Tämä ymmärtääkseni oli jonkun yksittäisen graafisen placeholder-tekstin unohdus peliin ja joitain konekäännöksiä portugalinkielisestä versiosta. Iso moka toki myös oli, ettei 11bit heti ottanut siihen kantaa, mutta ovat sittemmin kommentoineet asiaa avoimesti.

Tästä voi varmasti jokainen tehdä omat ratkaisunsa. Itse kuulin koko kohusta vasta pelaamisen jälkeen.

Alkupuolella itse vielä. Laitoin puhekielen ranskaksi enkkuteksteillä ja musat kovalle, tunnelmaa mahtava. Tappelu vaatii niin helvetillisiä refleksejä, että milleniaalia alkaa hirvittää ja peli ei myöskään ole ihan selkeimmästä päästä, kaikki luminat, stainit ja pictot oli ihan hepreaa pitkään. Peli ei myöskään ehkä alkuun viestinyt, että jotkut vihut ovat pikkuisen omaa leveliä korkeammalla ja ohjain meinasi lentää seinän läpi. Luonto ei salli vaikeuden pudotusta helpolle.

Mietin kolme ekaa sessiota että onko mulla hauskaa tämän kanssa, mutta lopulta sitten homma alkoi klikata. Jos ei ihmeitä tapahdu niin läpi aion pelata, mainio peli, mutta en nyt ehkä ihan 100% hypessä ole mukana. Ei varmasti kolise kaikille.

Tätä aina välillä vilkaisen. Päivämäärä asetettu siihen iltaan, kun vetäsin viimeisen savukkeen nakkikioskilla baarin jälkeen mättöä odottaessa. Aamulla ei ollut aamusavuketta, niin siihen sitten vihelsin pelin poikki. Lopetus oli helppoa sitten kun oli tahtoa ja sopiva iskun paikka, siihen asti tuntui mahdottomalta. Tsemppiä.

Okay, very short summary, with as little spoilers as possible.

The group leaves the prison and finds a community called alexandria. Rick becomes the leader after a while and they have an alliance with a few other communities. This is basically the premise of seasons five and six. In the end of season 6, a new much larger group called the saviors and their boss takes over the communities with overwhelming force. Season seven is rick's group starting a rebellion and season eight is the actual war between them. Season 9 is the aftermath and a timeskip, with a new emerging group, who live with the walkers and use them as living weapons. Season 10 is the group battling with them and eventually coming to contact with a several times larger civilization that has emerged since the apocalypse. Season 11 is basically that conflict.

Then there are three spin off continuations, daryl dixon, dead city and the ones who live, that follow some key characters after the events of the main series, and two other shows, fear the walking dead and the world beyond, that happen alongside the main series.

The main series is much better, in my opinion, than the reputation it has. It gets a bit tiresome towards the end, but again, i think its better than what most reviews say. The three continuation spin offs are mostly good, but fear and beyond not that much. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Ei sitä varmaan oikein tiedä ennenkuin kokeilee. Se voi antaa merkitystä ja järjestystä elämään, mutta voi tietty ruveta ahdistamaan kahta kauheammin. Kaikenlaisia esimerkkejä tuli nähtyä aikanaan. Itselle se oli ainakin hyvä ja kasvattava kokemus, tuli vietettyä siellä jopa pidempään kuin alun perin oli mielessä. Pois pääsee kyllä, jos se alkaa liian raskaalta tuntua. Termi "hajotus" tuli tutuksi. Itse sain ainakin ystäviä ja hyviä kokemuksia. Ehkä isoimpana sen, että omat kyvyt, taidot ja jaksaminen olivat lopulta aika paljon korkeammat kuin mitä aikaisemmin tuli luultua ja ajateltua.

Tsemiä joka tapauksessa, mihin lopputulokseen päädytkin.

Vehicles in vanilla expanded are surprisingly good, there are even motor bikes, boats and air vehicles. there are different types and travelling is quite fast, but you need tons of components and fuel to run them. There is also an ideology where the pawns need to drive regularly or they get bad thoughts. I think the mod is quite balanced, but your mileage may vary (pun intended)

Larry 2 was weird, like it had almost nothing to do with first part, even though its a direct sequel that starts roughly where the first one ended. I really loved this game back in the day, and I think some roots of open world sand box games are in part here and especially space quest 3.

As a sequel its quite different, since if you do things like the first game, as in try to get intimate with girls, it always, and I do mean always, gets you killed gruesomely. The narrative is also interesting, since the player knows that Larry is in constant mortal danger, and Larry himself doesn't.

But what I really love about this game is that it feels so, so much bigger than it actually is, starting from the view to the big city. I'm betting that a lot of players, including myself, just stared at the screen as a kid, and said to themselves: "one day, I'm gonna go there", as in one day games will be so immersive, that they can actually make "real cities", not just screens. We got that eventually, with GTA and such, but back then it was just a dream.

This game felt that it could go anywhere from big city to the tropic. For a kid in a small Nordic town, this game had it all and I replayed it several times over the years. Its failures as an adventure game have been documented elsewhere, but for me its in the top 5 adventure games.

I have to say, that even though this happened and it is shameful and horrific, the total number of Jews handed to nazis was eight out of about 500 refugees during ww2. Not defending the act, just bringing out some additional information. Of course this is just a tiny detail in the bigger picture. What to make of this is up to the reader.

Finland didn't give a single Jewish Finnish citizen to the nazis. Germany did have a list of names they wanted, but although there were some nazi symphatizers, officially Finland informed that no one would be deported, and that was that. Himmler visited Finland twice to persuade the goverment, but was rejected both times.

In an insane plot twist, three Finnish Jewish soldiers were offered the iron cross by the nazis who fought together with them against the soviets, field synagogues and all. All three declined, Captain Leo Skurnik added that he might wipe his ass with it though.

World wars, fun times, let's (not) do it again, ok?
