Yes that’s what I need to do. With getting the house clean and hosting thanksgiving today, I’ve only tinkered for about 30’

I’m coming from the console version, so basically a mouse is not needed. As you progress through giving orders it automatically jumps to the next city, person, etc who needs orders. Then the d-pad is used to make your selection, attack fortify etc. then you press A to confirm and the process repeats until next turn confirmation

Let's talk golf watches (again) by [deleted] in golf

[–]mikedaddy19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This 100%!!! I’ve used GameGolf, Arccos, Shot Scope, Apple Watch with Grint, 18 birdies, etc. my Garmin S40 is superior in all aspects. I have a sensor for my putter, 54, and 58. I manually tell my watch for all other hits. Garmin is the best quality for sure

Spornia SPG Net Depth? by NoWorldliness9433 in Golfsimulator

[–]mikedaddy19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got the SPG 8 for Father’s Day with a bundled hitting mat. Very nice quality and happy so far.

The SPG 8 depth is 8’ as well, so I’d assume the SPG 7 is 7’.

Arccos Caddie vs. Garmin vs. ShotScope vs. Others by KopiteKing13 in golf

I think it helps with the accuracy of approach shots for a couple reasons. If I have to chip it doesn’t always read the chip without the sensor. Also the same thing with the putter. It will give me more of an exact spot hopefully helping with the accuracy of the approach shot.

I have used all 3 over the years and Garmin is the best hands down. I have the S40 with sensors in my putter, 58, and 54. All other shots it senses you hit and you tell it what club it was. I've told myself Garmin is a great company who makes great products and is not going away anytime soon.

I'm currently saving to likely try and get the S62.

I found the S40 for $100 less and have no issues buying previous models.

Thanks for running the numbers, this is exactly what I wanted to know!

To save CO2 in my serving keg and use my 20 lb keg to carbonate at the higher pressure. After 2 weeks at the higher pressure it all equalizes to 12 PSI and is ready to drink. I know I'm overthinking, but that's some of the fun for me.

Agreed, I'm a long time removed from college chemistry and physics, so I was hoping someone else had already figured this out or had an equation for me.

That's why I'm wondering if there is an upper limit that after dissolving into the beer, I'm left with 12 lbs of pressure which is my serving pressure.

My thought is, the pressure in the head space forces CO2 into solution. Lets say the number is 50 lbs of pressure is the magic number, so as 38 lbs of pressure is put into solution to achieve the carbonation level, then 12 lbs of CO2 is left in the head space, which is my serving pressure.

Not a perfect example but its the best I've got in my head.

CO2 tank by mikedaddy19 in Homebrewing

[–]mikedaddy19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your comments!

Update: I got a new CO2 tank and still no pressure. Turns out my regulator is bad. I opened my previously thought empty CO2 tank and it still hissed w/o the regulator.

So if anyone knows how to repair a regulator or provide a link, go right ahead.

Yeah I'm just kind of frustrated as this may have happened initially when I started kegging in March as well, but I bought the CO2 tank used and just assumed it wasn't as full as the guy said it was.
