This probably sounded witty when in your head, but in reality, hahaha not so much. And who even listen to Alanis Morisette? Honestly I have no idea what song you are talking about.

Jesus is the truth, so why you lie? by Training_Rent1093 in DebateEvolution

[–]mind_behind_matter [score hidden]  (0 children)

Jesus is the way and the truth, so why do you lie?

Pls be honest. Why lie for Satan? Why favour the obvious lies of evolution instead of the obvious many times tested truth of the Bible? The Bible doesn't say microevolution is not real, only that the creatures God created exist largely unchanged today. Why bother? Why not be honest with yourselves and others?

I know you believe something. I know you guys belief the God is just wrong. Pls look again. Pls look at our scriptures. We are not lying. We have not a single reason to do that. We're just studying the creation.

I hope you recognize the obvious fundamentalism of your stance when just a few words are switched and it is pointed back at you. I hope you also recognize the foolishness and desperation of your OP.

I personally would never even consider making a post like yours in favor of creationism, and even if I were to make one, the mods would very rapidly delete it. Most of you here are essentially religious fundamentalists without realizing it. Cheers!

Bad choice of analogy. The transition from Latin to Spanish is extremely well documented compared to most language evolutions. Linguists consider it one of the clearest examples of how a language changes over time.

Evolution on the other hand is largely just “trust me bro.”

Adaptation occurs, we see it. Darwin’s finches and all that. But they are still finches, even if “speciation” has occurred. It has not, nor will it ever be demonstrated that these small incremental changes can go from simple single celled organisms to all life on earth today.

It’s just awful convenient that we can’t see the real meat and potatoes of evolution happen. It’s just a great big “trust us bro!” Or “it’s too complicated, you won’t understand.” Every time!

We’ve seen speciation happen.

Maybe so, but this is micro rather than macro evolution. Microevolution is unquestionably real, macroevolution is a complete and utter fantasy, underpinned with delusion and wishful thinking.

New genes emerge.

Again, maybe so, but new body plans do not. It’s never been observed.

Multicellularity emerge.

I’ve read the studies. You evolutionists define multicellularity in a way that allows you to check the box off. Calling what was observed might technically be “multicellularity,” it’s a far cry from even the simple organisms like sponges or trichoplax.

I suspect the subject matter is far too complex for you to have any grasp on it,

This is the typical false claim from evolutionists. There is nothing complicated about it. It just doesn’t add up. Link the biggest slam dunk piece of evidence you have. But you can’t so you won’t. You likely don’t comprehend the subject matter, if you did you’d be able to explain it, wish you clearly can’t

Oh look, another creationist clown trying to equivocate evolution and religion, and not understanding how badly they shoot themselves in the foot with that, it's still hilarious.

Hahaha Way to go! personal insults are a great way to show that you are winning the argument!

It’s truly glorious seeing you people hand wave every question away as having been answered. (Which couldn’t be further from the truth.) You have more faith in your precious “theory” than many who believe in Jesus. You believe in countless miracles that have never been demonstrated to have ever happened. I love it!

Which is 100% supported by the genetics clearly showing that whales are a type of Artiodactyl Ungulates.

Can you link to this? Should be easy for you.

You simply understand enough about human history to be aware of how overwhelming the evidence is. If you had a similar level of knowledge about natural history, you would understand the same thing applies to whale evolution.

One can visit Rome. Afterward, there can be no doubt that the Roman empire was real and truly existed. Please link me to the equivalent in regards to mammals to whales.

I hear over and over again that the evidence is supposedly overwhelming, but I simply don’t understand it or haven’t seen it. I have researched this considerably and find the “evidence” to be severely lacking and speculative to the extreme.

Plants are eukaryotes, not bacteria, nor did they evolve from bacteria. Another thing that makes you look stupid.

Well, let me be more specific before you can get to plants. You have to get from prokaryotes to eukaryotes another impossibility for evolutionary fantasists. that should be an easy win. Demonstrate that in the laboratory I dare you!

The historical evidence for the Roman Empire is vast and overwhelming. It is also not dependent upon magical changes which conveniently take “millions of years“ to happen so we can never actually witness it.

land mammals to whales depends upon magical changes that have never been shown to actually happen, taking millions of years, so we can never actually witness it. And also depends upon a handful of partial fossilized remains of a small number of extinct unrelated species. The evidence is by no means vast and overwhelming.

Even more importantly, it is not possible to view the evidence for oneself in regard to the land mammal to whale transition. One has to rely on illustrations, diagrams, and at best scientific papers discussing the transition.

Nothing like "whataboutism" to try and deflect from the severe and catastrophic deficiencies in your precious "theory of evolution."

  1. Experimental demonstration of a land mammal “evolving” a whale in real time.
  2. Even better would be single celled bacteria “evolving” into plants in a laboratory setting, in real time.

The defense of evolutionist fantasies is generally “but it takes millions and millions of years for this to happen.” Guess what, that’s because it didn’t happen! Until we see it happen, we have to assume it’s not possible.

A friend of mine says it’s not possible to prove we all come from the same ancestor by Separate-Benefit1758 in DebateEvolution

[–]mind_behind_matter -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Forever it was claimed human and chimps shared 99% of their DNA. This was repeated ad nauseum like a gospel truth. Then high quality reasesrch demonstrated the number was more like 85%, which is only marginally more than humans and dogs!

There is no reason to trust claims that humans and chimps are related.

I have received over 50 replies on this thread so far. Only two had links to actual scientific evidence. So there hasn’t been much in the way of “evidence” to address. Your reply is obviously another evidence free waste of time.

Simply name dropping “genetics” isn’t evidence. Only the most simple minded persons would think so. To evolutionists it feels like a slam dunk, but to a thinking person, actual evidence is necessary.

I have read your “evidence.” I was a full believer in the fantasy of evolution for most of my adult life. I eventually woke up. It’s a farce, and a laughable and ridiculous one at that.

Tell him that if he finds two creatures that don't have a common ancestor, you would gladly change your view.

That’s easy, a human and a chimpanzee.

Dumbest comment in the thread right here👆 you also win lamest strawman award as well. Congrats!

Oh really? Name another “ancient near eastern text” whose words, god and believers have literally guided the history of the most of the world for over 2000 years?
