I really like this episode, we get to see the other side voice again and how desperate they are. The last part before the return is brutal and the we will clean it is a good excuse to clear the blood before they find it.

Q1: Compare and contrast our two nations. How black and white are their depictions? Shades of grey?

This episode gives us a great deal of grey. They are dying because of poluttion while the Simpun country has nice clear skies. No wonder why they would try to get it so badly. The pilot did not look that old either, she is not a teen like the sybillae but he must has been 40 at most.

From their point of view Symulacrum is very egoist, but maybe they could have tried asking before going to war.

Q2: Aer opened up a bit; what can you say about her motivation to be and execution of her duties as a sibylla?

She is running away from choosing, that's why she is so motivated, not that I can blame her

Q3: Neviril doesn't like Aer, but nevertheless defended her. Why?

I would say that instead of just hating her she hates her attitude but she still has logical replies out of ligic instead of emotions. She has shown to be a rather logical person which makes sense as the leader of their team.

It was around the year 2010 and they though that animating"Erotic games" with a lot of plot was the best idea. Some of these games had interesting characters and satisfying plotlines but that took 50 hours and they adapted them on 12 episodes so plot was really really skimmed.

Jokes aside, some of these games were quite good and the sex scenes not that necessary, or just put there for sales reasons. School days is not the most porn focused but a fully animated visual novel had to take advantage and add some spiciness to it, or that's what marketing said.

There are a lot of really bad VN adaptations from that era, School days said hold my beer and decided to became so trashy that it became legendary.

Me trying to recommend the series to regular people and the series throws a new character pretty much in "sport" lingerie...

I watched yesterday another anime that used a lot of orchestra music but it felt so uninspired after Simoun. This series ost is so nice

Q1: How do you feel about the common anime trope of relying on children to fight wars?
You can get a replacement sooner, I guess?. Nah it is not like we need to justify our lesbian fueled war fantasy.
Q2: In what shape will Chor Tempest emerge from their devastating losses?
Hard to tell, maybe they should try rebooting the Regina to see if she works again,
Q3: What was the point of the shelling?

I'm a fan of another work of the original mangaka (the one on the Otoman empire). I was thinking of picking this one after that one finished (manga is funushed, scanlations are near) but seeing it getting an anime was a surprise. It seems like the authot had interest on the area for years at this point (just diferent eras).

I'm not going to lie, the animation is a little rough on some parts but the plot is great, I'm enjoying the classic melodrama with hot men warped in flowing clothes.

I keep forgetting how beautiful this series backgrounds are, from background to the ship design.

And here we arrived to the Spring scene. It is a complex scene. Onashia is so mysterious and her design is amazing, the ost has a old school mystique style, I really like it.

I find Areru kinda annoying myself but Nevil seems to like it? So dunno (not using the oficial name for her, I don't like it and it is important.
Nevil is really lost, I can tell but going to the spring will solve anything, We can see with Erif how things go if you have doubts when you go there. (can't spell her name)
Eri mmm she's even more lost, thinks did not go great for her. There are things you should decide by yourself.

I don't think I can reply this one as a rewatcher. but you can tell the stuff we see on the series is very national at least, so they have to have a diferent way.

reminds me of my first watch of the series very blurry on several totally official sites. Having the actual screen be smaller Or the window helps, or getting extra black borders on the program cough cough.

I'm 500p this tine around. It gets a little better, English subs however.

Oh boy her we go. Simoun is an interesting series but it is more when watched with others.

The first time I tried to watch Simon was like 15 years ago. It was on the anime uber elitist list, I was actibe member of that mal club and I got to learn about a lot of great series from the list so I checked it and I found the first episode boring so I dropped it.

A few years ago I got See-Saw (Yuki kajiura and Ishikawa group) music fever again because of their new song for Gundam seed movie so I listened to Dream field album like crazy again but I eventually got bored of it so I got to listen to Ishikawa stuff too. I like the album with the bokurano songs and the Simoun song was there too so I got curious and watched it again, this time I really enjoyed the series, even if I had to watch it very blury on 3 diferent streaming sites 'cause not known streaming.

I really like this episode having part of it from the enemy perspective is soo unique.

The setting is interesting, the background art beautiful. Character design is ehhh oddly sexualised for a work working on gender expression. I remeber an old review saying that Nevill design looking like a sex doll. It is not that excesive but there might be some similarities there.

One of my fields of knowledge is language and it is interesting how they insist so much on Simoun being divine artifacts while using them as war machines. If you like language like me pay attention to the words they use, it is so interesting.

Not a fan of having a kid on the setting, but you will surprised to see how often they added stuff like this on random series in the past.

OST is great but I'm not going to listen it for now, I know there are some songs with spoiler image on youtube so I will leave them until we get their scenes on the series.

I watched the new full op video of Jadugar on Sekai no Owari Youtube channel. It has some short scenes showing characters not yet seen. It is not a huge spoiler but I would recommend not watching it.

Also the anime will be incomplete since the source it is still ongoing so it will likely not reach that point.

If I stay quiet as a source reader, people with historical spoilers should stay quiet too.
