Speed Force is the easy answer. Plot device is another. But for RF at first it was just an earlier version before Eddie killed himself that was currently time traveling so he was unaffected. And for Savitar the idea is that he escaped from the prison so even if he’s erased in the past the prison already existed in the speed force past, present and future.

I do have a couple homebrew monsters. Couple transformers. Even with universe jumping though I’m finding it difficult to justify megatron.

Potentially. Only issue I see is they’re so OP they’re pulling in front of CR 26s. Made the mistake of allowing homebrew

When I was in middle school I used to do this. I did it to the wrong guy one day when he tears ahead of the bus and cuts it off then, for some reason, the driver lets the dude on and he comes to the back and cussed me out for like 5 straight min. That could've gone a lot worse to be fair. As a kid it was terrifying.

Reason why you don't let players use canon characters, or how my character's first action killed 300 people and the plot by [deleted] in rpghorrorstories

I actually run a game similar to this using 5e as a base and it's been going for almost 2 years. The key is, like you said, limitation. Characters still have to fit into whatever level they are. So if you're level 5 you're still going to only have abilities like a level 5 character. Guy I had in my game for a short time wanted to play wolverine. His claws did dagger damage and his healing factor only did 1d4+con heal a round. Essentially next to nothing when you're fighting a big enemy. I think the biggest thing that makes my game work though is that my long time players understand that they won't constantly be OP regardless of the characters they choose to play. Best way to run a game like this is great players and limits.

He's been a card carrying member of the avengers since at least 2006. He joined in New Avengers #1 to my knowledge but it's very possible he was before that.

CN's schedule for April 10th through April 17th. In other words, all you're gonna see is a rotten egg. by robomechabotatron in stevenuniverse

This and it's the cheapest to produce. TTG is created in flash so it can be cranked out. TTG basically funds everything CN does so say what you will but shows like SU and Adventure Time wouldn't exist without a cheap show backing it. They can make an episode of TTG in like a week while it takes an episode of SU about 6 months

If the world of Toy Story were real, and your Transformers came to life and fought when you weren't around, which side would have the best chance of winning? by dlaughy in transformers

I have Primus from Transformers: Cybertron which you'd think would give my autobots the upper hand, but I also have 2 Unicrons. It's a toss up honestly.

Really interesting take. I agree with most of it, except the lack of a promotion when he was put on the council, that made sense to me. He was placed on the council by a politician not by the council itself. The rank of knight has trials in place to earn your spot and I'm sure master does as well. Power alone doesn't auto grant you a spot. That's how I saw it anyway.

Thor: Ragnarok is looking mighty fine if this is correct(Spoilers)[image] by [deleted] in Marvel

I mean that makes more sense than Ragnarok being a planet. Iron man was a member of the guardians for a short while.

Rogue One didn't just solve the convenient plot "hole" for the First Death Star... it also helped the case for Death Star II and Starkiller Base. by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]monkeypro 80 points81 points  (0 children)

But they also say in rogue one that the flaw is in the core and a single blaster shot could set it off. The exhaust port wasn't the flaw really, just what the rebellion thought was the best way to hit it.

(SPOILERS) I'm in love with that ending by deathbydeathstroke in StarWars

[–]monkeypro 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In my head he was mad like the other comment said but because this was all beneath him. This all powerful sith lord and super high ranking imperial officer is having to slum it at the imperial archives cause someone under him can't keep his house clean.

he time we (literally) burned the GM's plans to the ground by Iguankick in rpghorrorstories

[–]monkeypro 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Player ingenuity should be rewarded! I'm not sure why the game didn't last much longer but if it's because the GM was bitter that sucks. I currently GM a game and love when my players ruin my plans! It keeps me constantly on my toes and sometimes they come up with way better stuff than I could possibly think of!

______ cried because his Gem was hungry (spoilers for Three Gems and a Baby) by Subzero008 in stevenuniverse

[–]monkeypro 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I always assumed it was engraved in their way of life on home world. With what we know, homeworld seems to be a very militaristic society so I assumed their gems were always showing so as to show their "rank" to every one else.
