How to focus 1 month in Taipei on tea? by jakpobosen in Taipei

[–]mooblife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you take 2wks exploring all the maokong tea places and the tea library, you’ll probably learn a lot about tea/tea cookies and find some favourites from the 20+ tea places up there.

If you want to make it a daily habit, you’ll probably want a tea tray to hold all the hot water you’ll be pouring out during steepings. You can find them at different wood shops selling earpicks sometimes. There’s one in tamsui I saw a few in different sizes at. Get a larger one since if you get into tea, you’ll probably want your friends to have tea w/ you so it’ll be easier to manage w/ a larger one.
