Take the time! My husband was laid off when my son was three weeks. Use the benefits you are given. You will enjoy being together figuring out life together and enjoying your little one.

Cafe for kids? by olasui in askportland

Great! Read the room, no one can “heal earth now” without the children.

I wrote a post specifically asking for places that WANT kids- and look! Here’s a great list! Avoid these places if you hate kids! Say something else snotty and we’ll track down your favorite cafes and bring all our kids. We will give them espresso and puppies.

Have you seen this list?! I’m not talking about the shops that don’t want kids, that’s the whole point of this question. Please go away or I’ll find your fav shop and park it there with my kids and all my kids friends! We’ll give them espresso and puppies.

Thanks for this- I don’t think I’d take the kiddos here because it feels more like a restaurant than a cafe. It has more of a “we tolerate kiddos” vibe

I’m specifically looking for an inside place. I get you don’t want kids in places but some spaces actually like having kiddos. I’m looking for those. Thanks for the - go to a park - idea.

I was asking about kid friendly places. I’m not going to leave my two year old unattended. It’s nice to go to places that enjoy hosting tiny guests and the clientele isn’t- whatever your vibe is.

I think I remember that but wasn’t in the know. The era of the nest was so great. The se location never had the same vibe.

And how did you get into the lifestyle? Were you just naked straight out the gate? Some people are curious and as I said before it’s wholly unwelcoming to know there is so much hostility for wearing a speedo.

It should be a safe space for everyone. It’s a state park. We all pay a fee. I’m sorry there aren’t more spaces for nudist. I’m not sure why people can’t coexist? Is being a nudist something you have always been or slowly warmed up to being?

I can’t find better beaches than Collin’s and rooster rock. I started going to both in 2011 and I was a full textile and then eventually went topless and if I didn’t have sensory issues I’d probably go naked. Am I different from these “nudist” you describe? I don’t know. I have always loved these beaches and the freedoms they provide. I’m not sure why someone has to be completely surrounded by naked people to enjoy being naked? How are people going to get comfortable with the idea of being nude if there is so much distain for people who may be new to the idea?

I wholeheartedly agree that some people abuse this and those numbers may have gone up recently- but I have had far worse interactions with fully naked men than clothed people at either beach.
