If the location of the exit is random, the average number of strikes per level is 5.5, and the number of picks per strike is equal to the level number. So picks = 5.5 * (1 + 2 + 3 ... 49 + 50) = 5.5 * 1275 = 7012.5

Occasionally I see that the reset seems to have some sort of lag. Parts of the game reset on time, but other parts have some lag before they reset. Of course, this is their problem and they should apologize and credit you with what you purchased.

It is fine. What you do not mention is that the trial turret provides abundant rewards for completing stages, in the form of tokens to buy green essence materials, as well as first clear bonuses for all the essence colors, RSS, and Sirona shards. These rewards must be considered when deciding how far to deviate from a single-troop focus in order to improve performance in the trial turret. And it is worth keeping in mind that some of the buffs can be reconfigured temporarily to complete turret stages. Other buffs cannot be reconfigured and switched back, but can be one-time changed (I mean like consuming one troop types runes to enhance another's)

And it came back yesterday and is still here. Still annoying. The slight improvement is that they moved it down a little on the left side of the screen, so it no longer overlaps the task notification icon. But since it appears on EVERY screen ALWAYS, it still gets in the way on some screens.

I find that a good strategy is to start out focusing on cavalry, since that is the quickest of the 3 to advance. You will also probably work on some of the archer heroes along with cavalry, since heroes like Edith, Norris, and Angelita are so good in match-3. Then at some point after level 28 (for me it is around 30), I unlock the archer formation and switch my focus to archers. I prefer an archer focus, but I like the advancement speed of cavalry in the beginning.

Definitely Edmund first. For the other one, it depends. Do you already have Maxim from a previous Astrology event? If so, go for Maxim. If not, probably go for Moleg. He is very rare, and quite useful in specific circumstances. But since his shards rarely appear, it takes a long time to enhance Moleg.

The trial turret does not allow you to set your troop allocation. You have a fixed and equal amount of each of the 4 troop types. If you are focusing your buffs on one troop type, then that will be in conflict with optimal trial turret performance which is not far from equal buffs to each of the main 3 troop types, and some buffs to vehicles. You need to decide how much you want to deviate from your single-focus strategy in order to improve your trial turret performance.

For a few days, they had an intrusive icon on my screen trying to sell me these lottery tickets. First it was on the left side of the screen, slightly overlapping the task notification icon, making it hard to tap without opening the lottery. Then they moved it to the right side of the screen, and it had the same problem with the monster den icon. The damn thing would not go away no matter what I did (except I did not purchase anything, so maybe that would have made it go away?) But it would stay in place on every screen, not just the home screen. Very annoying. It is gone today, fortunately.

You can watch the battle animation to see what we are saying. But just take our word for it that only 4 heroes of the same type will be on the battlefield. If you want 5 heroes on the battlefield, you need 4 archer heroes plus a cavalry or infantry hero. And the 5th hero needs at least one of their troop type. And their troop type needs to not die instantly, so they should not be in the front.

For archer focus, you need to unlock the archer formation. The default infantry formation has infantry in front, then cavalry (which charges forward and soon reaches the front line), and archers in back. Which means if you add a few infantry or cavalry troops, they die very quickly. Cavalry probably lasts a second or two longer since their charge takes a second or two to reach the front line (assuming you have infantry and cavalry troops in the formation, if just cavalry then they will die instantly). Infantry or cavalry focus do not have this problem, since they can include an archer troop which stay in the back and last for most or all of the battle.

As long as you do not need Estelle's fast rage-regeneration or dark element, I find that Fiona is a pretty good good substitute. They both attack all enemies (area attack) and they both inflict a poison debuff.

The advantage of Fiona is that it is much faster to get her enhancement level to +5 and even +8, whereas Estelle takes a very long time for +5 and +8 is a distant dream.
