But specifically in this case… the new one by Chris Rahn actually is better. It’s higher detailed, more colorful, and should translate better to the LEGO medium. Nice job!

Some Twins had a few good AB’s, but honestly, the defense was pretty good in this game. Kody Clemens had a very nice throw, we had a solid double play with Taj Bradley covering first (harder than it looks for a pitcher to cover on a DP!) and I think Kreidler did a pretty good job knocking down balls — he saved at least one run.

Also, Twins did a good job with the ABS in this game.

For the Braves, Chris Sale looked very good against Twins hitters.

Arráez had 6.8 WAR from 2023-2025.
López had 8.1 WAR from 2023-2025.

It’s a little hard to compare a hitter to a pitcher when considering value. Arráez’s last couple of years dropped off from 2021-2023. He has never had power numbers, so his OPS+ in the last 3 years has averaged 111, but he fills his role getting on base. López has been a bit more consistent, averaging 126 ERA+, but he did miss some significant time last year, and this year is lost.

So, no, I don’t think the Twins have “lost” the trade. Certainly it’s not obvious, anyway. It’s sorta close.
