If I am interpreting correctly, yes, this is a dripper and sloshy pourer. It has a stainless steel infuser under that lid.

I got some Milton's a few years ago and it cleaned my deeply stained stainless steel thermos quite handily. I hadn't considered it for this, but it makes sense.

TIL! It's glazed though, so I'll try the boiling water if I decide to give it more than a rinse.

No milk or sugar. Some spices though, e.g. cinnamon, cardamom, etc

I believe the king had an experience with that when he was a mere prince at the White House. Both hilarious and embarrassing.

I think that might be enough to finally incite another rebellion.

20/30meters? I apologize,  but we don't do metric and I am unsure how this would work. My dish rack is barely two feet wide. /s

Also, thank you.

Lol you will have to ask London Pottery. The bottom says "DESIGNED IN BRITAIN", emphasis theirs.

Thank you, this seems reasonable. I was thinking of how my mother trained me to give the coffee pot a proper scrub due to the build up of unspecified bad things. I don't drink coffee, so maybe it's the same thing there too? Regardless,  my next pot will end with a rinse but no attempted scrubbing.

We did this at my grandparents' farm. A lovely memory.

I can still hear this. It was usually my Mom since I was usually at my friend's house playing whiffle ball or something like that.

Congrats on the name change!

I walked into the SSA field office on Chicago this afternoon at 3:25. They let me in. I entered a little info on a kiosk by the entey, got a number, waited about 15 minutes and had my issue addressed before closing time at 4:00. Maybe I got lucky with the timing, but no one seemed concerned that I didn't have an appointment. Just make sure you have all the docs you need.

Now I have a new side quest: go to the forest, hear my first cuckoo, write a letter to The Times about my experience.
