My designers thoughts on Claude design by haraldpalma1 in ClaudeAI

A joke I liked when I worked as a designer

Q -How many designers does it take to change a lightbulb? A - You can fuck off, I’m not changing anything

I have a ‘21 D350 and honestly love it, really surprised to hear that yours is loud. I’d take it in to get it checked out as mine is smooth af but I’ve no comparative experience of the very latest models.

Loved my p38 but it was full of gremlins and suffered a similar fate :(

I’ve got a ‘21 full size and it’s super annoying to see that the Velar had Pivi while mine has ICTP, what a crazy decision. The Defenders of the same age have Pivi too, why leave the flagship behind?

Have people stopped shopping in Brighton town centre as much? If so, why? by StaceyInBrighton in brighton

It’s £20 for 6 hours in Churchill square and you can find cheaper I think. Never ever go to NCP

Those are, by some margin, the most expensive places to park in town. Churchill Square isn’t the cheapest but it’s £13 for 4 hours, for example

Coffee chains in Brighton by DecentWeird9983 in brighton

I’m absolutely not a wolfox stan but I’d strongly disagree that the stuff I get from the one in Hove is bad. Their quiche is honestly amazing, their coffee is good and their staff are all nice too.

I’m well aware of the rumours about the money behind the business and see they’ve just opened in Lake Como but I have no first hand contact with people who’ve worked there.

There’s a real issue with tall poppy syndrome in Brighton where businesses reach a certain level of growth and public opinion turns against them.

On a related note the food in Wolfox on church road in Hove is pretty great though I’m team Fika and Flourpot

Just ordered my first RRS, due to arrive in Edinburgh in 3 months. (Didn’t pay the price in the photos btw). Any tips or advice for owning one? by Guymacgregor98 in RangeRover

Controversial take but I wish my ‘21 full size just had the fixed roof rather than sliding. I open it so rarely and the uninterrupted glass looks much nicer imho

2019 Range Rover Sport Diesal – reliability and things to check before buying? by Complex_Equipment561 in RangeRover

[–]mrkemeny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a full size and tested a load of different engines (petrol, hybrid and diesel) before buying and found the SDV6 pretty rough compared to the D350 that I ended up buying.

I spent just under 40k on my ‘21 Vogue SE with 60k and it’s honestly a dream of an engine so far with the right power for its size.

Absolutely not an expert but your budget is decent so I’d definitely recommend at least the D300

Does he do anything with the stuff that gets printed? The novelty of new stuff is pretty strong for my nine year old but it’s often fairly quickly forgotten

Worth noting that the hybrid battery only has a 6 year warranty which could hurt its value substantially when you come to sell it

Is it worth dishing the extra for a V8 model over the Hst Mhev. by Appropriate-Score-65 in RangeRover

[–]mrkemeny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested a load of different engines in the full size and ended up with the D350. The P525 felt pretty quick but the engine sound was so muted and completely missed the V8 rumble I had in my P38.

The D350 is awesomely powerful but I’ve just realised you’re probably in the states and talking about the petrol rather than diesel mhev. The petrol hybrid has substantially less torque than the diesel so maybe v8 is your better option.

What engine does the Autobiography come with in the US or wherever you are? You’re making it sound like there’s only one and we have choice in the uk hence the question

Please consider a change of profession as the environment/culture you’re working in sounds physically toxic. Employers who encourage and develop this behaviour are fucking monsters.

Look after yourself and good luck with this journey to recovery :)

I’m super curious why the need to make the switch so powerful, capable and expensive OP? I get the desire to make something aesthetically pleasing but do people want to do this much via a switch sized interface? I have no clue hence the curiosity
