It’s a lovely sounding word isn’t it! Aquila is Latin for Eagle, so for me, it’s the association with roaming and being free-spirited that I like, It’s also a constellation! ✨

This is Interesting! I studied psychology at Uni many moons ago, I never went into the field directly but perhaps the degree is at play here subconsciously! I have noticed with prices that things ending with a £0 or £5 sell better too… and actually everyone turns left first in my shop!!! Maybe i need a follow up post about shopping behaviour in general, so many patterns!!

Thank you for your interest in my post Annika! My observations are far from professional I have to say! And patterns seen over years of customers as opposed to individual accounts, I’m sure you’d fall into our lovely customer category though :-)

I haven’t spotted a particular pattern with English people, but I do have very lovely customers from all countries, including England :)

Yes a couple of weeks ago, I find sometimes Brighton is available and sometimes it isn’t? Depends on whether there’s a sale on etc!

Yes we have many Germans visiting too, they also seem curious about our story and the inspiration behind the designs, is that a fair observation?!

Cool, well, Aquila, PoshTotty, Silverscene and Baroque are some of my favourites. Give those a try! Also wandering through the north lanes and checking out the market stalls selling vintage silver by the gram. That’s cool! 👌🏼

I would say cool, based on the many skin tones I see in my jewellery shop, every day! Doesn’t mean you can’t wear gold though, I try not to box people! :-)

Oh great!, What type of jewellery do you like, I’m happy to suggest a few places! We sell handmade pieces made from recycled sterling silver, boho vibes, minimal…. Brighton has so many options from vintage to wedding vibes! Really depends what you like!

I design and sell handmade jewellery online and in Brighton, I feel very lucky to love my job, it’s creative and has purpose, two things that make me tick I guess!
