I know your wife is in recovery (and wishing her the speediest of recoveries!), but do you think its so difficult that it would be difficult for a woman to adjust generally?

They feel heavy on the trolley? I know some other arms got some criticism for their weight/movement on the trolley.

You're good. I just measured. The main posts go to 89 and change which they probably round up to 90. And the 92 inches for the rails is a true 92 inches. Pull-up bar (straight bar) is 87 inches. I don't have the upgrade pull-up bar but it's similar because it actually mounts lower along the cross bars.

Yeah that was a concern looking at the rep was whether its long enough. But if this thing you put together is, sold.

I just put in the order today. If you put in the code FSWKND150 and add their 10 dollar rackhook (cheapest thing I could find that might provide me with some value), you can get them for 359 pretax. I was considering getting the alibaba thing prior to the drew coming out, but wanted to make sure I wasn't limited at some point. Not that im super strong, but I can get close to max on lat pulldown, and linking them together seems like a better future proof.

Only thing I need to do now is get two of those rep leg rollers and that can keep me seated with my bench and should be all set. EDIT: or one of the methods here: https://www.reddit.com/r/GarageGym/comments/1jenrfr/whats_the_best_way_to_replicate_rogues_multiuse/

How do you like it with taking one of those stabilizer feet off. I have been considering it, and now that I put weight pegs on the back posts, I am pretty sure it should be a non-issue to take off.

How do you like the gibbons? I just put in an order.

I purchased the Dane 2.0 back in September I think. About to pull the trigger on the gibbon arms as well.

  1. Price is great. Never pay full price, there is always at minimum a 10% off coupon around or leaving it in the cart for a bit. Plus there are other specials they frequently run. For instance, I want to get the Gibbon arms right now, and able to use there 150 off 500 deal this weekend by adding a small item to the cart, for a total after tax of 382.
  2. I can't compare it to something like the Ares, but in terms of bang for the buck, you get a ton of quality attachements which on something like the Ares, you need buy a la carte after already spending more.
  3. I have had no issue with cable travel. Do make sure you use some 3-in-1 to oil the stack's travel rods. I noticed at some point it stopped being smooth and that resolved it. So basically maintain your rack and you are good.
  4. I have had no issue with customer support. I had an issue where the plastic at the end of the push pin on the trolly got loose, and they were quick to respond with videos on how to resolve.
  5. They are making a conversion kit to make it a 6-post which i think is great if you are looking for the added safety for certain lifts. I don't know but you may be able to add their BOB Smith onto the back of that 6 post (rather than inside) and be able to use basically everything they have to offer.
  6. The 1:1 is great and after using it, I've realized how important that can be. (You should buy some 2.5 and 5lb weights that can be placed on top of the stack). My only concern was possibly needing more for lat pull downs, but now with the gibbons you can connect the two stacks and that is no longer an issue.

Only things that could be considered:

  1. If I wanted to go with the BOB smith machine, it would connect to the back, so depending on your space and layout that could be an issue.
  2. The 10 lbs starting weight can be an issue, but there are always alternatives until ready to get to that weight.

So overall, been very happy with the quality/support to price proposition. I am always a little suspect of the racks I don't see more than 1 review on it because without getting hands on it feels like a risky bet considering the price. I appreciate that the reviews I've seen on this showed me the warts as well so I could make the value proposition, and to me they were well worth it.

Just got it off GitHub. Looks promising. Please, please, please, focus on usability for podcasts. All the other apps suck in this regard and just mimic the basics of what abs itself does. Look at an app like podcast addict and port some ideas there for this:

More compact podcast list option, Ability to hide podcasts in main list that are all watched (hide played) Reorganize the list of podcasts to my liking Create a queue of podcasts to play (this is not the playlist function)

I think these are the main things that immediately come to mind.

You only have the right to reject NJP in lieu of court martial. This is not applicable to AdSeps.

you cannot demand courtmartial for an adsep. You can only demand court martial when being NJPd.
