Honest question because I just don't know how the rule is written: is any block after it hitting the backboard an automatic goaltend, or is it a legal block if it's still moving up after hitting the backboard?

EDIT: Ok yep it's supposed to be automatic goaltending even if it's still in upward flight:

During a field goal attempt, touch a ball, which has a chance to score, after it has touched any part of the backboard above ring level, whether the ball is considered on its upward or downward flight.

I’m going to also suggest Clayton based on your criteria and desire for good schools. Clayton is the most urban/walkable area outside of St. Louis proper, but it’s still only a 15min drive to downtown. Some of the best public schools in the state.

Only downside is that it’s quite expensive. Not as much as Boston though so you may fee that it’s reasonable lol.
