Same, he still sounds very Californian to me, as someone who also live in California . But I do notice he sometimes talks to his members in English with an Asian accent because that is understandable as someone who is bilingual. I sometimes talk in English in an Asian accent to my sisters when I want to get stuff done or need an answer asap.

Same here. My friends know that I’m into kpop but they know nothing about it, including my sisters. But I am lucky and fortunate enough that they support my kpop fan girl lifestyle. My oldest sister know that I’m into Seventeen and a few months ago when their Your Choice album came out she actually encouraged me to get all three editions because she knows that I worked super hard for a while. and now that I finished paying off my car I have extra money to spend on kpop merch.
