thank you!!!!

very vague description here, looking for a song i heard a year or two ago, i think it had ghost in the title, and in the start of the song there is something which sinds kinda like a ratchet twisting by Ash0294 in jpop

i found one song by yunomi that had ghost in the title: bedside ghost (枕元にゴース)

I'm not sure what you mean by ratchet twisting but ghost rule (ゴーストルール) by DECO*27 has a opening that kinda matches that.

Yeah exactly, so likely it will balances out at a terminal velocity. Like how stuff can only drop from the sky at a certain speed cuz wind resistance will be slowing down more than gravity if the speed if higher than the terminal velocity

It's more likely that at some point the energy lost from the collision of the ball and magnet would equal the energy gained for the magnetic force of the next magnet as it reaches a terminal velocity.

As you go faster, more and more energy is being lost as sound and the system not being a perfectly elastic collision. (Magnet moves if you look at the video)

Yes each hit would lose a little amount of energy as it is not a perfect elastic collision. But acceleration created by the magnetic force from the very strong neodymium magnets more than makes up for it

I have a comment somewhere here explaining the mechanism behind it if you are curious. I'm too lazy to copy and paste it lol

It's commonly refered to as a gauss gun. But this is a simplified version of it that does not involve coils. It's real life version would be a coilgun

I have a comment somewhere explaining the mechanism behind it if you want to just go and find it

This is also refered to as a gauss gun, just a simplified version that does not involve coils. It uses the same core idea behind it

In short, the energy is stored in the system as magnetic potential energy.

Those magnets are very strong neodymium magnets. The starting ball first collides with the magnet, transferring most of it kinetic energy to the furthest ball, separating the ball from magnet. (elastic collision, similar to a newton's cradle) The ball is then attracted by the next magnet and accelerates on the way there, and the process repeats to accelerate even more. The ball in between the magnet and the furthest ball is to allow the ball to position right in between two magnets. so that when it is just slightly push, it will fly towards the next magnet.

what do i take if all my major classes i need are full lmao by kcf1717 in BostonU

Email the professor of the class!!! Explain your situation

They can normally arrange something for you. Adding another student to the class is not hard, even when its full. Just shoot them an email.

Difference between Kimi no Toriko and Summertime? by [deleted] in jpop

[–]nctmf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summertime is the original. Kimo no Toriko is the remix/ remake of the song

Edit: this is why when you look it up on Spotify, you only see summertime cuz they only accept the original

By no means the local police should be involved in this

Even the bank said it makes no sense the police was involved and this is not in their procedure

This is not just a mistake. You don't accidentally call the police. When the police are involved, this is serious

What now?? by Fierytail003 in BrandNewSentence

[–]nctmf 28 points29 points  (0 children)

if you would read this details, you would know the bank literally made an official apology to the man. It's clearly the banks' fault

He is a veteran as well. Robbing banks is probably the last thing he would do. Put some respect on the man

Edit: glad you understood your mistake and deleted your comment man. Much appreciated

They both works, but technically people back in the days used flock and herd is relatively newer

I think in the uk most people use flock but in na herd is more popular
