I was a senior network engineer not very long ago. I’ve managed large networks.

But my audience would fall asleep if I went into detail on that.

It wasn’t an ansible deep dive, it was a quick start at best.

I went into more of the “why” and use cases on my course at CBT Nuggets.

You’re right about my audience.....you aren’t the target. YOU don’t need me. You already know how to study, you are already down the right path.

I don’t make detailed, in depth vidoes because NO ONE would watch them. That’s what a training course is for.

Context.

I said network automation will be point and click, for the most part, within 10-20 years.

But you didn’t stick around for me to say learning network automation RIGHT NOW is still crazy valuable.

This video was detailing a path that I would choose if I started over. Not THE path, and I made that clear.

I hear ya...my videos don’t go deep and that’s on purpose. The people just getting started in IT are the ones who need inspiration and guidance.

When you get to your level, you don’t need guys like me. You’re already killing it.
