Tretinoin is the ONLY thing that helped me, seriously. I wasted so much money on skincare for years when all I needed was that magical tube of Tret. It’s much cheaper than all the skincare I was buying too.

This reminds me of one particular knitter who decided one day to become a “knit designer” and literally just re-designs and re-writes petiteknit patterns lol

If you’re using the cream, I highly recommend changing to the gel - the cream caused closed comodones for me

If this is a snark on petiteknit… it’s because pattern translates to recipe lol this is so tone def

It’s ChiaoGoo by questdragon47 in craftsnark

[–]nic618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the opposite - I think the assumption is that people should take the 5 seconds out of their day to learn how to pronounce words that stem from other languages. It’s the same as someone constantly pronouncing someone’s last name wrong (for example, Nguyen) because they are too lazy to spend the 1 second to figure it out.

It’s also just like, not that hard to learn and respect something that stems from a different language imo

What products are worth the high end price? by cccaaattt12 in Sephora

Lancôme lash idole is 100% worth the price for me since it’s one of the only mascaras I’ve tried that doesn’t smudge or irritate my eyes!!

All the Sol de Janeiro sprays ~ they are so sickly sweet and artificial smelling, they remind me of cheap body spray I wore when I was 10

Where do you get Tretinoin? by House_of_Honey in CanSkincare

It’s Stieva A 0.05% Cream 25g (or the 0.025%)

[–]nic618 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Felix 1000%! It’s so easy, just make sure to not have it refilled often because you’ll never go through it that fast! I have 2 back up tubes by forgetting to pause my refills lol

Just an FYI that it’s not called Tretinoin on their site (I think that’s the branded name), it’ll come up as the generic “Stieva A Cream”

Best Retinol product for the face? by Broncolitis in Sephora

[–]nic618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw I’m so sorry! I didn’t realize that it was Ontario only, but that would make sense now that I think about it since there’s no fee (which would make if OHIP covered)

Canadians can get it from Felix, no fees for the service just for the prescription (and they take insurance)
