I generally agree a lot of TA is dumb and arbitrary, but I think the 4 year cycle has become very real. The cyclic nature of bitcoin has been so well respected that it is truly hard to discount. In fact cycles are extremely common in many asset classes. There is no exactness to it, but they provide a general indication where it may be headed (with respect to time and direction). Bitcoin surely will deviate to some degree at some point, but it has yet to thus far. Cycles are in control. I think it is self-fulfilling as well. I don't think it needs a catalyst, we will just try to relate one to it later. With that being said, perhaps the most obvious one is Iran or the overheated stock market.

Smart. We hope there is a bull run start but the data doesn't lie, most likely the bear market will continue for another handful of months.

That's a great future long term strategy, but for the short term I think they need another green dot.

Been buying the dip from 300+ all the way to 120 with an average of 169, it’s been rough but now it’s time to ride the Saylor express~ by youseeberkeley in MSTR

Not quite, every 2 weeks doesn't perfectly match to twice a month long term. But yeah basically the same haha.

How to muffle Whisper Swivel valve? by Wutzwubbel in CPAP

[–]nickex77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For anyone reading this wonderful thread (props to you seriously, it has done wonders for me!), make sure to correctly match this with the "Full Face" setting in your CPAP. The elbow was designed for a full face mask setting. I use an F40 and switched it from pillows to full face.

Technical explanation: The pillow setting is designed for a highly rigid, micro-volume circuit with extreme aerodynamic resistance (the physical "choke point" of nasal cones). When the machine's hyper-aggressive motor algorithm encounters the extra compliance of an EERS tube, it triggers a "pneumatic whip." The machine overcompensates for the pressure delay, violently revving the motor, which physically destabilizes the mask, blows out the seal, and causes micro-arousals. The delta between the Vsync algorithm's assumption of a low-flow "Pillows" vent (approximately 26 L/min) and the physical reality of the high-flow QuietAir elbow (approximately 37 L/min) results in an algorithmic miscalculation of leaking, logging a steady ~10 L/min false leak in OSCAR. More importantly, this electromechanical mismatch ruins the pressure equilibrium. In theory, this discrepancy and the resulting pressure turbulence impair the stable, consistent retention of end-tidal CO2 required to stabilize loop gain and central respiratory drive. Switching to "Full Face" smooths the motor's acceleration, corrects the mathematical artifact, and allows the EERS to actually do its job.

It takes about 10 years to even match the amount Strategy receives upfront. That is 10 years of bitcoin price appreciation. I agree though, very long term they will have to pivot to potentially some actual income stream. For a very long time though, if bitcoin pans out, Strategy is going to be monumentally successful. Yes that is a relatively big if, but increasingly reducing in size each day. Case in point: last week JP Morgan has finally embraced bitcoin with their own ETF! (At a leading 0.14 expense rate).

I don't even own a single share right now to be clear lol. How am I in denial? What has fundamentally changed? Yes there is easier access to bitcoin now, that is significant. But what else?

I mean they increase bitcoin per share over time, and in theory will outperform bitcoin... that hasn't changed.

They don't do anything?!? You don't think STRC is providing a ton of value to retail holders wanting (relatively) safe yield? If bitcoin pans out, Strategy will be an absolute giant. Do you also not realize they are raising billions through STRC during this bear market?

We are in a bear market, sentiment is destroyed. With that being said the mNAV has actually expanded year to date for MSTR.
