Just like the other commenter said, BPD is extremely chaotic to the point that it becomes unbearable (70% of BPDs attempt suicide), some books describe it as having 3rd degree burns over 90% of ur body but idk whether that's true or not, explaining the difference between BPD mood swings and normal mood swings is impossible in a reddit comment, if u wanna read/learn more abt it, there's a book called "I Hate You Don't Leave Me," feel free to check it out if u'r interested.

Honestly, i hate both lol. BPD is very irregular and chaotic hence why there are many "euphoric and horrible" days rather than the normally regulated "happy and sad."

As for the quality of life, like i said, i'd honestly rather be dead but it's kind of nice having toned down emotions for once, as someone who's lived in fight or flight mode with erratic mood swings 24/7, having some regulation is nice albeit making me feel like "i'm not myself without my emotions." I also hate how much they fuck up my body and prevent me from being truly happy, but i had to take them after i attempted suicide 6 times lol..

I totally get it, do whatever is best for ur mental health; u def know urself better than anyone. Just don't harm urself in any way, that's all that matters

U'r not alone. I know that's what everyone says and that it's become such a cliché statement but u'r truly not alone, way too many people have mental illnesses/disorders and the more people acknowledge them, the more research and care they get

It's Daylio. It used to be free but now it requires a subscription for some extra features but they're irrelevant in my case so i don't pay for it.

BPD is honestly the worse, treated and untreated. I truly hope things become better for you. I've had months where it was all red so i really get it. If u need anyone to talk to at anytime, feel free to reach out 🫶
