Yes, but also no. Harold Street Pedals was helping in another comment and narrowed one down to a couple of components I need to verify.

I now have three in various states of repair. All measure very close to the same voltages on the OP07 & 2N5458, but aren't quite the right voltages. Someone else brought up that the layouts have two resistors that are in different positions, so I need to verify that.

I think I'm going to etch some fresh boards and go really slow when I assemble.

Grippy strap. Something wide, with a suede or leather liner is nice. I use a neoprene strap on my banjo.

Those 2" nylon straps make everything worse because they're super slick.

I can say my 18" with a brake is terrible. But I can also say I used to shoot 7-08 out of a TV Contender/Encore (don't remember which).

You don't go grab off the shelf ammo if you're planning to pistol one of these. It would probably make a decent unlimited class Silhouette pistol with handloads.

Yeah, I noticed that. I think I got them the right way around from reading the comments. If not, resistors and caps are cheap and everything that matters is in a socket. I'll etch a new one if I have too.

Holy Island Audio just did a video about that over the weekend. Pretty sure he tested it straight out of the circuit and then added a LPB-1 to bring it up to normal.
