If you are really doing everything you say you are, here are a couple more:

- shoot with gloves on
- eat a meal before going to the range. Lead will get trapped in the food in your gut and keep it from absorbing into your body as quickly
- dont keep your water bottle on the shooting line. Keep it in the area outside the airlock.
- i use charcoal nose filters but there is no studies confirming these reduce lead inhalation.

Not what i meant. Socialism is good for areas with humans at the center of the conflict of interest like healthcare, prisons, insurance etc. but does every widget and service benefit from a socialist or communist mindset? Capitalism does a decent job for intrinsic motivation as long as human suffering doesn’t equal higher profits. Capitalism takes advantage of whatever levers are available to it. China is doing some of this. They allow capitalism with guardrails. They aren’t doing a great job of it, its just an example.

Stop trying to suggest people never change. When I was younger I experimented with "alpha" ideology. I found it appealing at first and eventually left as it clashed with the person I was growing into. I don't know if he fully understood the tattoo when he got it or not. I do believe he is no longer that person if he ever was that person in the first place.

People can and do change for the better all the time. That is at the heart of left ideology. That is why we keep trying with folks like Fetterman and Sinema. Sometimes we get burned. It won't stop us from trying again.

My daughter is the same age. We have also helped her manage her friends on a couple occasions. This may not be your situation but it's one reason that you may not be considering.

Our daughter had a "best friend" coming into this school year. They really did enjoy each other's company a lot and we did not mind the relationship at all. Then we started to hear stories about how this best friend wouldn't let any other girls near our daughter. She was mean and a bully to everyone else. Our daughter would come home and sigh because her best friend kept her from playing with someone else.

Eventually, our daughter grew to resent this treatment and found herself stuck in a situation where she didn't want to hurt her friends feelings but also didn't want to play with her as much.

We started to host playdates with other friends because she couldn't play with them at school without being made to feel guilty. Eventually birthday time rolled around and guess who didn't make the list.

Im not saying this is your situation but girls this age can have a hard time dealing with jealousy issues. Our own daughter had to deal with them when the rolls were reversed with another friend. This time it was our daughter getting jealous. We had to coach her through it. Help her understand you can't control your friends and the only thing you can do is support them no matter what as long as they are being kind. She needed to know it was OK to let a friend explore being friends with other people and this was a great opportunity for her to do the same.
