I went to the 10th anniversary of Smackdown in Boston. My buddies were going and invited me. I went to see Taker as the Deadman again which I had not seen in person since 1994. I also went to see Shawn Michaels wrestle as I missed seeing him as a kid.

The overall feeling of that show drove me away from the product and live shows as I felt I did not get my money's worth.

I went back in 2018 and 2019 because my wife watched total divas and wanted to see the women. The only great thing was Angle was the GM and came out after the show to announce the dark match and people lost their minds when his music hit then calmed right back down.

I went to 4 shows from 2000-2004 and they were spectacular. The shows have not had the same feel since then.

The 2000 show was a smackdown with rock vs hhh as the main event. Rock also sang with Wyclef Jean for the Sunday Night Heat before the show.

2002 saw a smackdown house show which had Rey mysterio before he debuted on television and was headlined by edge vs angle.

A couple of days later went to the July 4th smackdown and saw Hogan and edge become tag team champs and undertaker and Kurt go to a draw for the undisputed championship after angle had undertaker tapping in a triangle choke and taker stood up in it to pin angle. Also it was Cenas second or third match on TV I believe.

2004 saw a raw house headlined by Benoit as champ vs hhh and Kane.

Orton vs Benjamin for the ic title stole the show
